The ranch-styled house is luxuriously furnished with high quality mission furniture. There are hardwood floors or carpeting throughout, custom blinds and draperies and tongue-and-groove paneling. The kitchen and bathrooms have ceramic tile and Corian counters. The living room has a gas fireplace. There are dimmers throughout the house, with recessed lighting. The main living area is air conditioned. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.
The grounds are extensive (approximately one acre) and landscaped with a wishing well, a swing glider overlooking the water and 160 feet of shoreline! The paths lead to the dock and boat, as well as a children's play area in an adjacent park.
The home is located in the gated community of Hemlock Farms in the center of Pike County, just off Route 84 in the northeast section of the Poconos. It is in the midst of natural wilderness (deer, turkey, and geese abound), yet with all modern conveniences.

A group of friends and I rented this beautiful home for the extended Labor Day Weekend. The home and property were in excellent condition and were perfect for a long weekend getaway. We had a group of adults and children and the entire group enjoyed the amenities of the home and especially the lake, dock, and playground nearby. Marlene and Michael were SO easy to work with in scheduling, leasing agreements, and any of our questions. I would certainly recommend this home!

Overall its the best vacation house ever we all loved it and looking forward to going back soon... very spacious house everything is in good conditions we have no complains we enjoyed our stay theres a park nearby to take kids if any, the lake is great to fish in. If looking for rental of a vacation home or planning a family get away this is perfect. Go for it

Our family stayed here last November for a week and had a wonderful time. The house is very neat and clean and our adult children had a great time as did our grandaughter (the playground is right next door) Not much to do in the fall but I'm sure in the summer it would have been a great place to be. I would say the only negative is the dock area by the lake - needs a little attention and it's a little tricky walking down with little ones. The owners were lovely to deal with and we would definitely stay again.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.
