Truly one of the finest homes on the "best street" in San Miguel, CASA ANDALUSIA is located on the lovely, quiet, residential street of Callejon del Pueblito which is three level blocks from the center of town where the Jardin (central plaza) and La Parroquia (the gothic-styled parish cathedral) are located. Not even a block away is the famous Artisan's Market and there is a brand-new hotel spa with a wide range of services just behind the house. Around the corner is the Biblioteca, the largest English-language library in Mexico and the venue for live theatre and Sunday morning tours of the loveliest homes in San Miguel. The street on which CASA ANDALUSIA is located is conveniently surrounded by restaurants, shopping, art and language schools, and museums. Although very convenient to the town's major attractions, the street itself is quiet and peaceful. Traffic is minimal (buses and large trucks are not allowed on the street.) CASA ANDALUSIA has a garage if you are traveling with a personal vehicle.

Upon entering the spacious courtyard, you will be greeted by the sight of palm trees and glorious flowers and the sound of water splashing in the fountain. Special architectural features of the house are the vaulted brick boveda ceilings and the lovely doorway arches. The house provides a fully-equipped kitchen, whole house water purification system, indoor and outdoor dining spaces, a gracious living room with gas fireplace, a rooftop loggia with wood burning fireplace, and an enchanting art gallery leading to three comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, its own sitting area, an attached bathroom with shower and jacuzzi, direct access to the courtyard, a gas fireplace and is air conditioned. The upstairs guest suite has a charming queen-sized bed, its own sitting area and bathroom as well as access to a second bathroom, air conditioning, and a private terrace. The third bedroom provides a comfortable trundle bed that can be converted into two twin beds. This room also opens onto the courtyard and has a full bathroom next door.
The upstairs loggia and rooftop garden have a view of La Parroquia that is breathtaking as the sun sets, the church bells ring, and the church and town lights appear. The loggia's wood-burning fireplace is a wonderful focal point as well as a source of heat when you want to entertain outside on cooler evenings.
This spacious and comfortable home is staffed by a Spanish-speaking maid who comes five days a week to clean the house, wash the dishes and do your personal laundry. For an extra fee, she can prepare some simple and delicious Mexican meals. A gardener comes several times a week to care for the flowering plants and trees that enrich the courtyard and rooftop gardens.
