Bayside, Coastal Living Magazine's 2006 award winning resort community, includes a pool complex with a great kids area, called the "Splash Zone," a fitness center, a game room, tennis courts, volley ball etc. The community also boasts the Bayside golf course, which is a Jack Nicklaus signature course, ranked in the top 10 "best new golf courses" in the U.S. in 2006 by Golf Magazine, and now ranked as the best course in DE; because we have a golf membership, you can make tee times at a discounted rate. In short, everything you could want for a terrific family vacation is at your fingertips.
Bayside also offers other amenities, such as trails for walking an biking, a pier for crabbing in the Assawoman Bay, and a shuttle service to the Ocean City and Fenwick Island beaches a few minutes away. Three major outlet shopping centers are also a short drive away in Rehobeth, Delaware.
The house is on a quiet side street, and has 2300 square feet on one floor, with high ceilings, lots of windows/natural light and an open floor plan from the kitchen through the dining area and into the large family room, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The family room has a 42 inch flat screen TV (served by a Comcast high definition connection, which also provides WiFi high-speed internet connection), and connects to a large screened-in porch. The finishes are top notch, with granite counter tops and hard wood floors. The rooms are furnished with new and comfortable furniture. The dining table seats 10-12 very comfortably.
The master bedroom suite is really special, with a flat screen TV, and a very large bathroom with a high ceiling, beautiful countertops and a shower that is tiled from floor to ceiling. The other 3 bedrooms are well sized and contain a queen, a double and two twin beds. The family room couch folds out to a queen size mattress.
If you want a very well appointed house, on a quiet street, near the beach, with plenty of amenities and a stone's throw away from one of the best designed and maintained, and most scenic golf courses you can enjoy -- all at a very reasonable price -- this is the place for you. |
