Two place de la Liberté is a spacious and comfortable house, dating from the middle of the 18th century and located in the typical french village of Trausse-Minervois. This beautiful village house offers a superior example of a "Maison de Vigneron" (Winegrower's House) that was carefully and beautifully restored, preserving its original elegance and classic features while at the same time adding modern conveniences such as multiple bathrooms and professional kitchen.
The house features original Lanquedoc floor tiles, four fireplaces with marble mantles, and original plaster ceiling roses. The house was just refurnished and underwent a complete redecoration of the interior spaces in a french mediterranean style. All appliances and furniture are in new condition. The house offers peace and tranquillity in the heart of the Minervois. Enjoy its charm and beauty, whilst enjoying the comforts of its modern facilities.
The house is situated on 3 floors where our guests can find both private and common spaces for their comfort, relaxation, and enjoyment. As you enter the ground floor you are greeted by an entry area that opens on to a long entry hall. This hall leads directly to a private courtyard where you can enjoy a cool and refreshing meal or drink.
On the ground floor there is a professional kitchen completely equipped with tools to make that perfect meal with fresh ingredients acquired from a local farm or market. The kitchen is outfitted with a professional cooking stove, dishwasher, microwave, and other small electric appliances to make your stay convenient. There is also a larder (pantry) where the refrigerator and clothes washing machine. An electric clothes dryer is also located in the kitchen area
Also on the ground floor is the lounge with sound system, colour television with satellite TV and DVD. The lounge is decorated in a traditional French Mediterranean style that includes a mix of antique and modern furnishings. As you leave the lounge and continue toward the rear of the house you will come upon the separate dining room that will seat 8 comfortably. Opposite the dining room are the stairs to the upper floors.
On the second floor (1st in Europe) there are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom at the end of the hall is the wine room. It has a double bed for two people. This bedroom also has its own fireplace. Adjacent to this bedroom is the main bathroom with bathtub and shower. Across the hall is the lilac room. This bedroom is decorated in a lilac motif with black iron bed. There is also a black marble fireplace and traditional red floor tiles. This bedroom has a queen bed for 2 persons and en-suite bathroom with shower. There is another bedroom on this floor that can be used for an addition tariff of 100 € per week. The bedroom has a double bed.
On the third floor (2nd Europe), you find a third bedroom, bathroom with shower, reading room, sun room and roof top terrace. Bedroom 3 is the rustic room furnished with a double bed.
