Welcome to Casa Blanca our family’s retreat from insanity. We would like to share with you the beautiful beach of Playa Grande with breathtaking sunsets, abundance of wildlife and undeniably the most spectacular scenery.
Playa Grande is a part of Las Baulas National Park where the world’s largest leatherback turtles nest. Because we are right on the beach, you might get lucky and see the turtles when they come to lay their eggs or the hatchlings when they make their run to the sea.
We are approximately one hour from Liberia Airport. We are also 30 minutes driving distance or a short walk on the beach to Tamarindo and 30 minutes from Flamingo where you will find plenty of shops and restaurants.
Relax on the front porch and watch the waves break and the sun set while enjoying a cocktail. The house has an open layout with a well equipped kitchen, a large dining room table which seats 12, a wonderful round game table, plenty of sitting areas where you can enjoy your company or read a book while watching the ocean.
We offer daily maid service 6 days a week at no addtional charge.

We try to go every chance we get! The property is beautiful, very well taken care of and in such a great little surfer town. It's very nice to be away from all the tourist traps. Walking distance to a couple great bars and restaurants-I cannot say enough good things about our experience at this lovely slice of heaven the owners have shared with us! Accommodations are stellar, everyone goes out of their way to help you-Magda and her kids are awesome! We even got massages & pedicures right outside the backdoor on the beach! Thank you Phil & Didi

Beautiful location and very comfortable house...it had everything we needed, including beach towels, wifi, and shade trees out front to read under. Well-equipped kitchen. Magda is wonderful and keeps the house immaculate. We walked right out the door to surf and boogie board, birdwatch, and had the good fortune to see turtle hatchlings twice. Playa Grande is so peaceful and relaxing. Will never stay in Tamarindo again. Hope to return next year.

The house was beautiful! We had a group of 10 and could not have asked for better accomodations. Surfing and breathtaking sunsets right out our back door. Also, Marco, Magda and their children were just great! Thanks for a wonderful vacation ... we wouldn't have changed a thing.
