At Tilghman Island Manor you will enjoy a perfect blend of Victorian charm and modern amenities. Cook a meal in the gourmet kitchen, stocked with Le Creuset cookware, or arrange a catered meal to enjoy in the expansive dining room equipped with ornate 1920s furnishings.

Perfect Getaway To Nowhere

House has Old World charm while still giving you all the modern conveniences. Fantastic place to getaway from it all. Beautiful peaceful garden/pond to relax by. Rented it last year to propose to my girlfriend (broke off the engagement recently because she's a lying psycho and thief). House accommodated 4 overnight guest easily. Kitchen and dining room were perfect for entertaining. Peaceful ride to St. Michaels (lots of deer) for strolling and shopping. The six head shower will relieve any stress you have. Loved just sitting under the rain faucet. The jetted tube is also fantastic. The whole place was soooo peaceful and relaxing. And the sunsets were just too beautiful. Bring a camera. And if you do feel like doing something you won't be dissapointed. There's plenty to see and do in St. Michaels, right down the road. Len, his renting agent and the grounds keeper were all fantastic. When you stay in Tilghman you get a sense of being home that you won't feel in a hotel.

Tilghman Island Manor is a charming home with all the conveniences of being at home. The kitchen is the perfect gathering place for morning coffee and late night snacks. The nights were perfectly peaceful and quiet. The home was comfortable, clean and very well maintained. Owner and property manager were very acomodating in ensuring our stay was enjoyable. If you want to get away from daily work routines, this is the place to be--you are totally taken in by the river at the end of one road and the bay at the end of the other road! The lily pond and water fall in the yard are also relaxing to sit by and enjoy. The community is friendly, the general store has what you need, St Michael's shopping and restaurants are only 20 minutes away. The seafood is outstanding! The ferry to historic Oxford is a must do day trip also! For a relaxing vacation I highly recommend a stay at the Tilghman Island Manor!

This charming home has been fully updated in the kitchen and bathrooms. There is a delightful pond with fish, lovely landscaping and a waterfall, as well as a welcoming front porch and small screened porch and patio with an arbor in the back. Tilghman Island is deceptive. There is so much more available than initially meets the eye that our family was busy every day with new activities. We recommend the day sail on the Lady Patty, sunsets at Lowe's Wharf and dinner at Harrison's is not to be missed. Take a ride on the Bellevue-Oxford Ferry and have ice cream at the Scottish Highland Creamery, too. For a more upscale dining experience, Tilghman Island Inn has a true 5-star restaurant and views of the marina add to the ambience. The house is well suited for two family groups, but the trundle room is too small for guests and the presence of only one shower can cause a backup in the hallway! Beds are very comfortable and the property is being well maintained. We really appreciated the Wi-Fi and two tv's, especially during a couple of summer storms that blew through.

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Jackson House. Reasonably priced, the staff was so helpful, warm and responsive. The house is gorgeous and has multiple spaces to gather - lovely dining room, screened porch and outside dining as well. We couldn't have been happier with our time there. Thanks Jackson House!

The bay on one end of the road, the river on the other end! Who could ask for more water! The accomodations were very homey. The pond was extremely relaxing! Hope to develop great pix of the lillies. The back porch was a lovely retreat at the end of the evening. We enjoyed the colaborative cooking & baking in the cozy kitchen. And to add, we all slept very well every night. The tub & shower were quite an experience. For the freshest crab & rockfish, go see Jerry under the bridge! AWESOME! Tilghman Island is truly a well kept secret! our time there was PRICELESS!!! We'll be back
