We had 10 family members staying at Baxter's. Plenty of room to get around. The pictures are exactly what the house looks like. Everyone really liked being that close to the beach. We are planning on visiting again next year. The only downfall would be to have another trash can out front. With a party of 10, we had a lot of trash. Kevin was was very helpful with any concerns we had. Can't wait until next year!!!

We have stayed at Baxter's Bunker twice and highly recommend it. The house is clean, comfortable, has a well-equipped kitchen (and an outdoor grill), and is ideally located on a quiet stretch of beach half way between Surf City and Topsail Beach. The floor plan easily accommodates extended/multi families with a first floor bedroom, double bunks in the kids' room (kids love this!), three full baths plus an enclosed outdoor shower. There's lots of room on the outdoor decks and walkways. The garage is a nice plus. There's a selection of books, puzzles and toys - much appreciated! Kevin is helpful and easy to work with.

We came down for a long weekend over Memorial Day. We had 4 adults and 4 kids. Working with the owners was as easy as it gets and after this experience we would highly recommend it to anyone and we will definitly be back. We have rented at least 6-7 different houses on Topsail and Baxters Bunker is in the # 1 slot. The house is very open and comfortable. Great for families or just adults. The kitchen had all upgraded appliances, counters and cabinets which is a plus for us since with 4 young kids we cooked in for every meal. My kids did not want to leave. Highly Highly Highly recommened. Thank you Kevin for a great beach experience.

House was great-great position on the island. Some defects, but not major. Our families enjoyed its spaciousness and comfort-the view was great from either deck.kitchen equipment also very good. Horace Edelson

This was a great beachfront vacation rental. The house is beautiful with great furnishings and an awesome kitchen! It definitely felt like a home away from home. What a great feeling to walk out the door and within steps be in the sand and surf. The location on the island was great as well, equal distance from shops and eateries in either direction. It is very nice that Kevin calls you at the house to check on you and to see that things are OK. Before we even got there he also passed on valuable information on finding things on and around the island. This was our first trip to a NC beach and we will certainly look into renting this house again next summer. Thanks Kevin for your hospitality and sharing your little slice of Heaven with us.

We stayed at Baxter's Bunker in late June, early July, and had a fantastic time. The house was in great shape, had nice finishes, and new furniture in the living room and on the decks. The covered deck off the kitchen/dining room/living room area meant that we could spend almost all day outside enjoying the view of the ocean and beach. Those who wanted sun could find it and those who needed some shade during the heat of the day were protected. We also enjoyed the private outdoor hot and cold shower after swimming in the ocean. The place was the best we've stayed in on Topsail. We highly recommend it for a great oceanfront home on a beautiful beach!

Kevin, We had a very relaxing vacation at your beachhouse. My dad came down from Minnesota and has never experienced such awesome peace on that great beach setting. We sat up late every night to listen and watch the pounding waves. September was a great month to visit..the temp was in mid 80's, just like the water. The grandkids loved playing in the sand, and I loved the surfing...even caught a few fish. Thanks for keeping some toys and puzzles around as well. They were used by all! Kevin! Thank you so much for allowing my family to rent your beachfront property. We (all nine of us) had a fabulous time; your home was truly welcoming and the access to the beach was literally steps away. This year was exceptionally wonderful because we had the opportunity to bring our 80-year old "poppy"; his sleeping quarters was downstairs and the rest of the bunch was upstairs. This was a great setup for our family. The view was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed ALL seven days while we were there. Whether it is was sitting on the deck from the master bedroom, living room, or physically enjoying the surf----all was absolute wonderful.....just total serenity. Thanks again! The Morgensterns P.S. We also enjoyed your continuous communication with us; this helped in exceeding our comfort level about renting this property.
