We stayed here recently and there were both positives and negatives. Positives: 38th floor, great views, comfortable bed, very spacious, owner is pleasant to work with. Quick walk/moving walkway over to the casino. Front desk employees very nice. Negatives: This unit is in desperate need of some TLC and a deep cleaning! The carpet is extremely stained. It may be cleaned frequently but I think it is beyond being able to be cleaned. It needs replaced. There are scuffs and marks on the floorboards in every room. There was a stain on the ceiling. The upholstery is coming off of the dining room chairs. On two of the dining room chairs, the backs were broken. There is a lot of dust along the floorboards, between the nightstand and the bed, and even dust bunnies in the corners of the chairs in the rooms. The tv did not work in the master bedroom. We called the owner who sent maintenance out right away to repair it however it was mentioned that there are frequent problems with it so it should probably be replaced. Overall it was a pleasant stay. I personally believe the cleaning crew is not doing the job that they are being paid to do.
Owner response:Hi There - thanks for the honesty in your review. I actually made a special trip out to take a look at the suites and you're right about the carpet in the penthouse, it needs to be steamed (or replaced) if the stains don't come out! We will be steaming it tomorrow Feb 8th and hope it turns out just great. Otherwise, I found the cleaning job to be good! We have signed up for a monthly DETAILED CLEANING as opposed to the quarterly detailed cleaning - hopefully this will do the trick. We will also be following up with all of our guests to get feedback on the cleanliness of the suite. We take your comments seriously and will work SUPER hard to remedy all of these things, for YOU and our FUTURE GUESTS! Thank you again for your business!!

We recently stayed in these units May 17-21, 2011. What a great place. Just what we were looking for. As the building is non-gaming it is much quieter than some of the other hotels in the area. If you wish for the hustle and bustle of Casinos, the MGM is only a few minutes away via the connecting walkways.. We shared the 2BR Suite (38th floor) with one other couple, and it was a great idea; From the moment we stepped out of the car, and into the main lobby of Tower 2, we were treated fabulously. Although the room was not ready when we first arrived, they did provide us with complementary bottles of water and took our luggage for the short time it took to get the keys. Rooms were exactly as indicated on the photos, and everything was clean and ready for us. Paul was always ready to answer any questions/concerns via email with our friends (who booked the rooms) before the trip, so we were more than happy with the service provided by him, as well. The Towers are off the strip but it was only a short walk along one of the side streets to get us to the middle of the Strip (Planet Hollywood/City Centre) I would definitely recommend this property to anyone, including friends and family, and we will definitely book again when returning to Las Vegas. Thanks again, Paul Patty, Herman, Steve & Sammi (Toronto, Ontario - Canada)
Owner response:pfanzp - we hope to have you back soon!

First of all the main view is of the airport, not the strip. You can see the strip from the bedroom but not clearly as it is located behind the desk and TV. If you stand out on the deck and turn sideways, you can see a piece of the strip. Bedbugs....yes my wife got eaten alive. Call the exterminator. And the mattress, bowed in the middle. The disposal doesn't work. Bad odor coming from inside the disposal. No iron board cover, just metal, and the board was broken, wouldn't fold up. The carpet is stained throughout and needs replaced. The wireless internet....another joke. The signal is so weak (1 out of 5 bars) the laptop kept losing signal and freezing. All in all a horrible stay.
Owner response:Dear Unhappy Camper, we're sorry that you didn't have a better stay, and would like to address your comments: 1. The pictures on our website are 100% accurate. The views are of the strip and the mountains. 2. We have had guests before and after your stay, none have reported bedbugs. The BIO team also scanned the units and confirmed this. We will put mosquito repellant in the room for our future guests. 3. The mattress was checked and we couldn't find the bowing; at any rate, we called the mattress folks to look at it since it was recently replaced in January. 4. The garbage disposal had a spoon lodged in it, which caused the circuit breaker to trip. We won't be charging you for this even though it happened during your stay. 5. The ironing board cover was loose, so we pulled the draw string tight. 6. The carpet is cleaned every other month; the last cleaning was 3/15 and the next one is scheduled for 5/15. 7. The wireless internet is provided by the Signature, when I asked them for guests reports of poor signal, they said that there were none. However, if your laptop was freezing constantly, there are probably other issues at play here. Lastly, we publish our phone numbers and hope that you call us when you're there with any issues and we didn't hear from you, so we could only assume that everything was okay. Paul

I just stayed in Paul's Penthouse and it was unreal! I have been to Vegas 6 times in the past 3 years and this is by far the best place to stay. You don't have to walk through a noisy casino to get to your room the hotel itself is very quiet and most of all everything is very close. Connected to the MGM Grand you can get there in about five minutes. I would recommend this place to anyone who is going to Vegas. Paul's customer service was unmatched when answering my questions and was great to deal with! 5 Stars, two thumbs up, A+++++ across the board!
Owner response:Thanks ENM - glad you had a good time.. Congrats to you as well!

We stayed in Pauls penthouse for 4 weeks in december 2010.Everything is as discribed and more.Five star accomadation and only a short walk to all the action.Everything is there for a short or long stay, eat out or cook your own.Fab views.I can't praise it enough.Paul is great to deal with, very helpfull and quick to respond to any questions you may have.We would recommend Pauls penthouse to anyone, five star accomodation for the same price as three star hotel. We have stayed in most of the hotels on the strip over the years, not anymore its Pauls penthouse from now on.Thank you Paul for allowing us to stay in your penthouse we hope to return soon.

This was my 3rd stay at the MGM Signature Suites and the best stay to date. Paul's upper penthouse suite is beautiful and has amazing views. The Signature is the best kept secret in Las Vegas. I will never again stay at a casino hotel on the strip. This gorgeous suite is clean, comfortable, private, conveniently located close to the "strip" and priced right. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is impeccable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a first class Las Vegas vacation. Thanks Paul.

We just got back and had to share how much we loved this suite! Everything was exactly as promised, and the hotel was more than 100% in all areas. Before our trip, Paul, the owner, was more than patient with all of our many questions. This is definitely one hotel/suite that we would recommend to our friends!
Owner response:Thank you, come back soon!

We stayed here for the week of our wedding honeymoon and couldn't have been happier with the 1br room. It was gorgeous! The room was very large - the bathroom and hot tub amazing! There was a wonderful view of the strip from the bedroom and it was nice to have an actual balcony to use as well. I would highly recommend staying at MGM Signature. The staff at the hotel are always happy to help as well.

"My sister and I stayed a few days in the one bedroom property over Thanksgiving 2009. Worked directly with the owner. We absolutely loved the place. Huge space. Great views. Very quiet. Delightful, clean, comfortable, modern interior with more than what one needs. Even the sleep sofa in the living room is very comfortable. Excellent value, much more value than that of the usual luxury hotel room. This suite is the way to go. We'd rent it again in a heart beat when we return to Las Vegas. Especially perfect for nonsmokers like ourselves. Also, easy to get around from property. Loved it."

Paul...Thank you for the unforgetable hospitality we experienced during our stay in the 38th floor penthouse.... A stunning view, and a spacious, fully appointed first class environment... Your upper penthouse condo provided an absolute perfect sanctuary during our hectic Las Vegas visit. The hotel staff at the Signature treated us extremely well also. Overall - the finest lodging experience we have had in Vegas for at least the last 25 years! We found the Signature to be a welcome oasis of tranquility towering above the electricy and action of the Las Vegas Strip. Once within the elegant confines of the hotel or while lounging at the world class pool it was easy to relax...Yet you always knew you were only a few steps away from all the bright lights and pulsating energy that is Las Vegas. We intend to strongly recommend you to all of our friends and clients who are looking for prime lodging in Las Vegas from now on... You have truly spoiled us forever...We are already thinking ahead to our next visit and we cannot even imagine ever booking anything other than your upper penthouse condo...

We were not sure what to expect but were very pleasantly surprised. Didn't realize it was the penthouse unit. It was beautiful, clean, spacious and the full kitchen was very useful since Las Vegas is quite expensive to eat out for every meal. Paul was very quick to respond to all emails and this unit was very well priced. Other people in the elevator were envious when they saw they we pushed the top floor button. Thanks for the rental, Paul.

Wanted to write and thank you for allowing us to rent your place. We had a nice time and loved the views and seeing Vegas from the balcony. The most memorable memory was breakfast in bed and looking out while everything was just waking up and feeling like a king.

Just returned home from Vegas and a great 9 night stay at the upper-penthouse suite in Tower 2. This was my second stay at the Signature and I wish I'd found VBRO (and Paul's contact details) before! Everything was as it should be and if you've ever stayed in one of the strip hotels, you will know that they don't even have coffee-making facilities in rooms, let alone a full kitchen. The Signature staff were all as friendly and helpful as before and if I ever return, Paul, you can count on me being back in touch with you.

Paul, thanks so much for a wonderful week in Vegas. Everything was absolutely perfect and everyday was a discovery. For example, we have access to at least 3 private pools that come with free snacks and nice people bring us drinks to our comfy suntan chairs. MGM also has wonderful pools if you want to join in the fun in the bigger pools. The Signature staff are beyond wonderful as they took care of every detail. The Upper Penthouse was dazzling and the rooms were beautiful Two views - count'em - TWO views were stunning. We couldn’t decide whether to watch the sunset over the mountains or the lightshow of the strip. The Jacuzzi was gigantic and we drank alot of champagne while floating around in the bubbles. The bed was luxurious, the balcony view was breathtaking and the kitchen was just the right size. The room service menu was topnotch and we enjoyed a few room service meals while lazing about our penthouse. The meals were A+ restaurant quality - and came with flowers too! Everything is within easy walking distance from the Tower. We were close to all the action but happy to leave the hustle, bustle and noise behind for a quiet drink on the balcony before bed. Thankyou, Paul, for ensuring everything was taken care of. We had no extra charges and check in and out was a breeze. The cleaners were topnotch and we loved returning after a long day of shopping and free drinks to a lovely freshened up Penthouse! We are ecstatic to be returning at Christmas with the whole family and look forward to another memorable holiday. We have already recommended this penthouse to all our friends!

We had a fabulous stay in the combined 1 bedroom / junior suite in April of 2008. The Signature itself is gorgeous and the suites are just pure luxury - we felt so spoiled staying here. Paul (the owner) was great to deal with and the staff at the Signature were wonderful too. Thanks for a fantastic stay, we'll be back again!

Great condo! We rented both units and had a great time. This is the best place we have stayed in Vegas, and we have stayed at nearly all the upscale resorts. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. The views were great to wake up to.
