Visit lovely Dauphin Island. The beaches are not crowded. No bright lights here, no fast food places, all are mom and pop type of restaurants. The Ship and Shore grocery/hardware/liquer store will have everything you need. Skinners seafood will have fresh seafood for you to prepare your favorite dish. Try The Bakery for fabulous coffee and pastries. If you are interested in an evening cocktail try the Oar House. You don't want to miss the Sea lab and gift shop (great gifts) Don't forget to visit the bird sanctuary, (free) paths that lead to private beach area. (Beautiful)
So enjoy the island by staying at Da Lime and Da Coconut. Bright colors throughout. Pebble stone bathroom floors. Plasma television in the den. Hand painted furniture. Tropical island decor. Cool off in our outdoor shower. Grill out your fresh catch or delicious seafood from Skinners in grilling area on the shaded paved patio. If you want to relax you have found the place. This cozy cottage is located on the canal and has views in all directions. You will enjoy the canal, the bay and the gulf. Dauphin Island sunsets are amazing. So what are you waiting for?
A bike path runs along the main road for a great way to get exercise while taking in the views. Safe for Children.

The Mobile Bay Ferry is available for day trips to Fort Morgan and Gulf Shores.

I love the water. I enjoy surfing at Dauphin Island. I recently went on a surfing trip with my son and bestfriend. Boating is another way I like to spend my freetime.
Why the Owner Chose Dauphin Island
I bought the cottage in 2004. I was vacationing there with my parents. I fell in love with the place. I love the laid back atmosphere of Dauphin Island. It is like going to the country with a beach. The local fulltime islanders are very nice and we have made some good friends.
The Unique Benefits of this Cottage
The cottage is in a very good location. I short walk to the beach. You can fish from the dock. You can walk to the bay, and enjoy wonderful sunsets from the crows nest. I like hanging out under the house on a hot day and relaxing and hanging out with friends.
