A fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings throughout, three TV's, plenty of board games, books and puzzles make indoor time fun after enjoying the beaches and piers on Oak Island. Kids, as well as adults, love our enclosed outside shower with hot & cold running water!

Bring the boat...there's room for it in our driveway, and the boat ramp is just down the street. Bring the bicycles too! "Go Fish" is across the street from the Intercoastal Waterway, making a cruise on Yacht Drive scenic and pleasurable. We say "Welcome" to your furry canine, too!

One stay at "Go Fish", and you'll begin calling it your favorite home away from home!

  • Jonathan and I had a great time staying at Go Fish! The pictures on the website do not do this house justice! It is very clean and well maintained, and it had everything we needed for a relaxing week at the beach. Plus, the owner, Kathie, was a pleasure to work with and very accomodating. The house is located in a great part of the island -- away from all the traffic and noise but still very close to the beach. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

  • Another delightful week at "Go Fish"! Can't say enough great things about this rental - has absolutely everything you need for a perfect vacation. All the details have been attended to and the owner is a pleasure to work with. Clean, comfortable and inviting! Would go back anytime. The Oak Island weather was perfect, the fishing was great, and the food was outstanding. Added to a super beach house and that makes an awesome vacation.

  • Go Fish was a perfect choice for me and my dog. Although it has three bedrooms and a fold out couch, it was great for just one as well. There's a nice front deck, but it's the little things that make the difference. Kathie has a large collection of games, a side by side refrigerator, and a Brita water filter pitcher in the fridge. I particularly liked her collection of Hemingway novels--it helped keep me in the right frame of mind to work on my dissertation. Go Fish was very quiet and right near the sound. Buddy and I took long walks and communed with nature. I hope to visit again soon!

  • Our recent stay at "Go Fish" was a true pleasure from beginning to end. The owner of this property is a delight to work with. The house was perfect for our family; not too fussy, but yet very nice; a relaxing atmosphere and everything you could need for a great vacation. I personally enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen. I'm not sure if the website mentions this, but in addition to the two queen size and two twin beds, the couch also is a sleeper sofa (and comfortable). The outdoor shower was a plus. Being away from the "main" road, the house is quiet and peaceful, yet close to the beach and waterway. We certainly hope to stay at "Go Fish" again.
