FYI, the location is ideal for the Sundance Film Festival as well as Park City summer activities including golf, hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, horseback riding, sailing, boating, windsurfing and water skiing -- all within 15 minutes.

The pictures of the condo looked incredible, but the actual experience was much better, which is so rare for us as we travel a lot. The bedrooms upstairs are monstrous. Steve was incredible to work with to get our booking completed and we will definitely be back! Having the iMac there was a great treat for my sons.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We work hard to make sure our guests have a great time during their stay in Park City from a smooth reservations process to a great time in our condos with great locations and great amenities.

OUTSTANDING LOCATION AND GREAT QUALITY! We had a great visit to the Barsh condo during Thanksgiving 2008 and regret that it is booked for Christmas 2009. Steve is very helpful and delivered on all promises. The condo is very clean and in very good shape. For skiiing, there is NO FINER Spot. You ski/ in of the main floor. WE WILL STAY AGAIN!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Always happy when our guests have a great time. Join us! :-)

I can't imagine there is a better place to stay in Park City! The place was just as described, if not better. The staff was very friendly and took care of our every need. This was our second visit to Park City. The previous visit we stayed at the Hotel Park City, which was nice indeed, but simply cannot match the location of the Caledonian. Everything you need is right there (With the exception of a fitness center, but the wonderful shuttle service took me to the Park City Racquet Club, so no problem) We are looking forward to our return next year!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks for your input. Glad we were able to meet your expectations!

This was a great place to spend a ski holiday. With the town lift right out the condo door, it was an easy way to access all the main runs. My wife, who is not a skier, loved the place and main street stores and restaurants are also right outside the front door of the condo building. We had plenty of room for our two adult children and one of their guests that came for a few days. Property was clean, and a maintenance item that we had was attended to quickly. Jacuzzi was fun as was playing pool. Although we had our own computer and used the wireless, the computer setup in the condo was also very convenient All accessories and facilities are available in the condo itself or the building. With underground assigned parking there isn't a worry with space and the building has secure elevator access to the units which is quite helpful after a run to the grocery store. We definitely would recommend this condo to a friend and as this was our first time to stay in Park City, we are looking forward to a return trip someday.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We love it when we meet guest expectations and work hard to do so consistently!

If you want to be close to the lift in Park City, you can't beat this location. Skiers coming into town will be jealous as they see you relaxing in the hot tub a few feet from the town lift. The condo is spacious with great amenities. Additonally, the staff at the Caledonian were extremely helpful and accomodating to any request we made. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely have this condo at the top of our list on the next Park City trip!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Stay with us at The Caledonian on Main Street in Park City and experience the best that Park City offers! :-)

We stayed in this condo in early February with our young adult children for a long ski weekend. It is a snowball throw from the Town Lift which made it easy to get up the mountain for a day of skiing. Since we drove in from the airport in Salt Lake City the in the building parking was very convenient. The condo was very nicely furnished and the hot tub just off the great room was perfect after a long day of skiing. We choose to eat out three days and there are many great restaurants to choose from within a block or two. Since the condo was so nice and fully equipped we did eat in one night. If you want to use the bus this is also a perfect place since it stops right behind the building. If you decide to visit Park City you wouldn't be disappoint if you choose this condo.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: When we say "ski-in/ski-out" (or "board-in/board out" for that matter), we mean it! Not only are you right at the mountain, but on Main Street with all of the great restaurants, shops, galleries, and more! We love it when our guests have such a great time in Park City and our condos are a positive part of that experience!

This was a wonderful trip for our family. With 4 children and grandparents, we had more than enough room for everyone. This is a very spacious and modern condo. It is so convenient to everything - restaurants, skiing, shopping - everything!. The condo is very clean and well maintained. The owner is very easy to get in touch with and very easy to work with. The staff at The Caledonian is phenomenal. Anything we needed, they did not hesitate to help. We would definitely recommend this condo to others and we would love to go back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We love it when our guests have a great time. And a 5-star stay is what we strive for in our 5-star accommodations!

How great to look forward to actually getting off the slopes and going home--to a gorgeous condo with all the amenities. The hot tub with the view of the mountain and the ski lift; the spacious rooms, fully equipped kitchen, flat screen tv, computer/internet, helpful concierge, ski equipment closet downstairs, etc. Outside, we were right on Main Street with the town lift, and all the shops and restaurants, and didn't have to deal with the parking (which is not fun in downtown Park City). The ski bus to the slopes and to Deer Valley stopped just outside. We had 2 SUV's and could park both for free in the underground garage which was very convenient. All in all, it was really perfect. A few minor applicance and plumbing problems were taken care of and the owner was extremely hands on and cooperative in getting fast repairs. Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend this condo.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1999
About the owner: My name is Steve Barsh. I have owned 2 properties in Park City, Utah since 1999 when we started using them for our family and renting them out to guests as well. I am a 'serial entrepreneur' who has worked in high tech businesses for over 20 years. I am a partner in a venture accelerator program based in Philly, I perform consulting and acting CxO services to help build and expand great companies, and I teach part time in the Wharton MBA program.
Why the Owner Chose Caledonian:
We love Park City, Utah! We love the skiing in the winter where we are 100% ski-in/ski-out for Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort and The Canyons are both only 10 minutes from us. The summer is absolutely awesome as well! There are so many wonderful things to do with our kids here in Park City -- it's a great place to vacation with them. Park City is so easy to get to as it's only 35 minutes from Salt Lake City (SLC) airport. Our condos' location right on Main Street makes it an ideal location for the whole family as we are just steps from everything.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
It's so convenient. We are 100% ski-in/ski-out (or board-in/board-out for our snow boarding guests) as we are just 50 feet from the ski lift. In the summer, the lift turns into a 'bike lift' for mountain biking access to the Park City Mountain Resort. Being right on Main Street in the 'Old Town' section of Park City is so great as just steps away there are dozens and dozens of great restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, bars, wonderful shops, and galleries.
