  The property is lovely and is as described. The kitchen is well stocked and clean. Both beds were very, very comfortable with pressed linens. I would love to return and would recommend it to friends and family. Bike paths are safe and well maintained. The beautiful beach goes on forever and was not at all crowded. Favorite restaurant was the Wild Olive,

  Jane, Thank you for letting us enjoy your villa the last few days.  We loved how it was decorated and the closeness to the beach.  Definitely enjoyed our stay.

  We stayed here in February and it was in the 30s and we couldn't hang out at the beach, As much as we would have liked to. I am so glad we booked this condo because it was perfect for hanging out inside . We came with our two boys aged four and two- There was nothing that we thought was not child friendly Kiawah is a great place and I will not review it but the condo- it was pristine - Had everything that you could want. The kitchen was well stocked With all the appliances and pots & pans . The owner was very pleasant to deal with. We plan to come back and stay When the weather gets warmer. I Highly recommend a stay here

  What a wonderful island! Very beautiful and you get the best of both worlds, the ocean and the woods. The villa was also beautiful, very clean and well maintained. The villa location is just minutes away from the ocean but you do have several stairs to climb as the villa is on the top floor. I would definitely reccomend this beautiful island to everyone I know. I would also recommend the gator walk....we got to see 6 alligators on our walk and our guide was fabulous! We look forward to visiting Kiawah Island again! Thanks Jane for all of your help and recommendations!

  My husband and I had a get-a-away weekend at this condo at Kiawah, and it was perfect for us! It felt like home rather than having that typical "beachy ambience" with a bunch of shells and stuff. Yes, it was warm and cozy, and the extra king size bed was great! Perfect for a couple or also with child as there's a pull out sofa bed too. The condo is nestled among trees, and a close walk to the beach too! We definitely plan to choose this condo again when we visit as we like the convenience of the location too as not only is it close to the beach, but also close to the pools and town too. Also, there are several great restaurants on the Island, and it is neat to rent bikes too. On our bike rides we saw deer and alligators which was very cool! Yes, nice to have a variety of things to do the Island and not have all the crowds either!

  My husband and I returned to Kiawah for the third year in a row and we found this villa to be well appointed and clean. The pictures are a true representation of the decor and layout. Regarding the area, Freshfields is so convenient and offers something for everyone - including fantastic pizza at La Tela, fresh pastries at Java Java, tasty bar food at King Street, and delicious soups and salads at Ladles. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, tastefully decorated, steps-from-the-beach villa in the Windswept area. We enjoyed the deck accessiblity from the living area and from the bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with every pot, pan and dish guests need. The full size washer/dryer is also nice to have. We took advantage of the fitness center at The Straw Market. It's a clean, comfortable facility with updated equipment. The only things we had to purchase were laundry detergent and trash bags. Aside from those items and beach towels, there's no need to bring anything extra. We'll be returning to the island next year and we hope to stay in this cozy villa again. Five stars.

  This was absolutely the most peaceful and relaxing vacation we have ever had. The location of this villa is great for it's close proximity to both the beach and the Night Heron Pool. It is nicely updated with tasteful decor and feels spacious. We chose to go in September because we figured it would be less crowded. There were so few people on the beach and at the pool, we felt like we were on our own private island. We rented bikes because the owner's bikes were being repaired. It was nice that the company delivered them directly to us including a bike lock, one bike with a basket and another with a small zippered bag attached. We spent our mornings taking walks and riding bikes, our days hanging out on the beach, and late afternoons swimming and lying by the pool. A few times, I made a picnic for the beach. But you are so close to the villa that it is not a problem to go back to eat lunch there. We felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated after a week at beautiful Kiawah, and will definitely be returning in the future. This was my first experience renting through VRBO. I was a little nervous about it, but Jane was so nice and made the rental process very pleasant. Thanks Jane for a wonderful week!

  This is a great location. Easy walk to beach and to Night Heron Park, pool. A big plus to have the resort amenities!! Very well maintained. The owners respond quickly to any inquiries, before, during and after your stay. VRBO photos of the villa are accurate. I have already recommended this property to many of my friends. Can't wait to go back! Unit is on the top floor (storage area on bottom, a second floor villa and then this unit ), so you will get a lot of stairclimbing exercise!

  This was the second time that my family has stayed at this beautiful villa. We came first in 2010, and then again this past August. The villa was just as I had remembered it- fabulously decorated, spacious for our family, clean and comfortable with all the modern conveniences. The location was perfect for walks on the beach, swimming in the Night Heron pool, and riding bicycles on the many bike paths. We shopped at the nearby Freshfield markets and enjoyed several meals at home. We would also recommend the Oyster Roast at Mingo Point, and enjoying a drink or Sunday brunch at the Sanctuary Hotel, both close by. All in all, a wonderful time in a wonderful villa.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway.

  We had a great time (first visit) at Kiawah. The villa has great location close to beach and Night Heron Park. The Kiawah amenities (Kamp, pools, golf, tennis) are first rate. The villa was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We hope to return soon!
