United States Naval Academy and downtown Annapolis are a short walk, or ride on the water taxi from the Chart House. Located in the heart of Eastport, one block from the Chart House and Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. Large kitchen opens to a private backyard with pond and grill. Rooftop deck with water view of Spa Creek and the Academy (seasonal). Walk a few blocks in one of three directions for spectacular views of the Chesapeake Bay, Spa Creek, or Back Creek. Walking distance from the best restaurants in town: Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Lewnis Steakhouse, Boatyard Bar & Grill, O'Leary's Seafood, Carrol's Creek, Rockfish and the Chart House.  The drawbridge typically goes up on the hour during the spring and summer months - which if you happen to be a pedestrian stopped on the bridge for 5 minutes at dusk or dawn,  it is a fabulous picture opportunity!

Each bedroom has a full bathroom. The Guest bedroom suite has a queen bed, seasonal water view, full bath, separate refrigerator, and microwave. The Master bedroom has a queen bed and large full bath. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a full bath. The downstairs bench cushions are built to support a twin mattress.

The back yard and kitchen are great for entertaining. The yard extends 75 feet from the back of the house and has a gas Weber grill. There is also a lighted Koi fish pond with cascading waterfalls for added ambiance. If entertaining, guests can step through the backdoor into a sun-lit tiled kitchen with an antique Irish bar, pub-height tables, and whole-house audio system.

My friends and I recently stayed here for a girlfriends long weekend. We found this house to be everything we expected and more. It was well stocked in all areas; both the kitchen and all the bathrooms. There were plenty of towels and extra pillows and blankets too. We had plenty of space to spread out. Although it was a bit chilly for spring we were able to enjoy drinks by the koi pond before coming in to warm up by the gas fireplace. To top it off the location is so convenient to everything Annapolis has to offer. Just park the car and go. Our only complaint was that the weekend ended too soon!

We like to be in Annapolis for the holidays and our granddaughter's birthday in January. We have stayed at this house for the past two winters and it has been a great experience . The house feels like a second home to us and Vince and Elizabeth are more like friends than owners. They are so accommodating. Any little issue that might come up is immediately taken care of. The kitchen is so well equipped that you will lack for absolutely nothing if you like to cook. The neighbors are very friendly. One even cleaned the snow off the sidewalk for us! Eastport is especially fun. We love all the restaurants that are literally right there at your door. Do try Leward Market right down the street for breakfast. Sheira bakes the best croissants! Vince and Elizabeth continue to make improvements to the house. You will love the fireplace and the heated tiles in the bathroom. The back yard is very nice. I loved going out and watching the koi in the pond. We hope to go back soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Annapolis. The house is nicely furnished and equipped and we had everything we needed to entertain various family members who were able to join us for parts of our time there. The back yard with the Koi pond is great with the sound of the rippling water. We also enjoyed the fireplace in the seating area off the kitchen. The location is tremendous, and the beautiful weather we had during our visit allowed everyone to explore the area, walk in to town and enjoy the restaurants located nearby.

This home was perfect for our family while we visited our daughter over the Parent weekend for USNA. She didnt want to go anywhere and this home afforded us the opportunity to just "hang out" in a very comfortable environment. Kitchen and all the amenities were perfection!! Home is beautifully kept. Very clean and SOOO MUCH ROOM!! spacious, location perfect. We did walk to the academy, 30 minutes door to door (bancroft hall). We also used the very conveniently located water taxi. It truely felt as if we were right at home. I would highly recommend this home and will be staying there again! Thanks Vince and Liz for sharing your lovely home with us!

This truly was a home away from home, clean, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. Plenty of room to spread out and relax, vs cramped hotel rooms! Eastport was a great location for sightseeing, sailing and enjoying Annapolis. The home is a short walk to center of town and a short drive to Washington, DC. Many excellent restaurants to choose from, a favorite was Cantler’s Riverside Inn, for great steamed blue crabs. My family looks forward to returning next year.

Our family had a wonderful week at the Eastport property. Three couples and two dogs, joined for two days by another couple...we had plenty of room, a great kitchen to cook in, lovely views of the bay just a short walk away, easy walking to town, and the feeling of home away from home. The backyard grill as well as the second floor washer and dryer were added luxuries for a rental. We would certainly recommend this property to those who want a well equipped, comfortable, clean, and charming house to rent.

From the first moment we walked into this beautiful Eastport home, we felt at home --- warm, comfortable and relaxed. The home is not only decorated beautifully, but also has ample space for a large group to gather. We really enjoyed the convenience of its walking proximity to the many Eastport restaurants, as well as to the shops and restaurants in downtown Annapolis. We highly recommend this property, and look forward to when we can stay at this home again !

Our family gathered in Annapolis for Christmas. This is a great house for people to come together. The kitchen is completely outfitted for cooking if you don't want to take advantage of the many great restaurants within walking distance. We were not disappointed in the condition of the house or the many amenities available. We would definitely stay there again.

My family and I spent a week at this vacation home during the 4th of July. We found the home to be lovely. It more than accommodated our housing needs. The location is absolutely perfect. We have two small children and we were able to walk to all the restaurants and to the downtown Annapolis area with ease. It is a very family friendly town and I recommend the pirate ship adventure if you have small children- our kids loved it! This is a great vacation getaway we will definitely stay at this location again.
