Villa Gordon is composed of an imposing hall with its big dome in bricks, and of a large living-room with a glass wall that overlooks the sea and the swimming pool. The full-equipped kitchen is divided into two wide and comfortable horseshoe-shaped parts. The TV-set with the sky satellite system is placed in this drawing room. Located at the 4 corners of the living room, you will find four double bedrooms (all king size beds), each of them with private bathroom and air conditioning. The 4 bedrooms are absolutely alike, for spaces and dimensions, very roomy. Two of them are directly open to the sea and the swimming pool, thus enjoying a wonderful view. We spent our vacation at Villa Gordon Paraiso Tankah in Apr 2011. Stating the obvious, the villa is one of the most beautiful homes to spend your vacation in. Our families enjoyed the delicious meals our cook made, set outside with the amazing beach as our back-ground. It's not a real holiday unless there's someone to do the dishes and beds as well. The staff is truly helpful and friendly and the owner is very kind, showing us some of the places to go. The cenote nearby is easy to access and still enjoyable. We all loved Mexico and will hopefully return soon. Thank you very much ! Turner & Nguyen Family

Well, what can I say other than we miss Villa Gordon... We spent our vacation @ Villa Gordon from 1/5/2011 till 1/14/2011. Our stay @ the Villa was totally awesome, and the only negative I heard was that we wish we could have stayed for another week. Josue and Magdalena kept the house/beach in tiptop condition, and Josue cooked us 6 excellent meals. The beach area although rocky by the shore and swimming area, we had already read some of the earlier post and took our swimming shoes with us, so we enjoyed everyday swimming in the sea and the waves. Nothing like having the swimming pool to enjoy ourselves at any hour. We cooked quite a few meals using the spacious kitchen, and prepared many different types/flavors of tropical drinks @ the bar counter. the rooms and bathrooms are perfect! Gianni shared with us his MIFI so we could all access the internet to review emails and search roads to travel and see things. We truly thank Gianni, Josue and Magdalena for a totally awesome and relaxing time @ Villa Gordon. We rented a vehicle in Cancun and put many kilometers on the pavement --- spent time at Playa Carmen, Tulum, ruins in Tulum, coba and Chichenitza - and a few other locations --- Valladolid is a great town to visit/shop/and eat...And if we can save enough $$$ during 2011, will be knocking on their doors again in 2012! We highly recommend Villa Gordon --- Abrazos, Diego & Tammy y Familia/Amigos

WOW, What a wonderful vacation. We spent 10 days at Villa Gordon Paraiso and wish we could spend 10 more. The house is beautiful and the view is even better. We saw 7 people total on the whole stretch of beach that you can look up and down on. The beach in front of the Villa is perfect to relax and have your favorite cocktail. There are a few bathing/wading pools that you can sit in at the tidal pool area at the end of the beach. There are a few swimming beaches either walking north or to the south. There are more beautiful beaches within a few minutes drive. The house is secluded, but very safe. I even felt more secure knowing the owner lives upstairs and caretakers live below. They really make it like you are by yourselves though. It is like being by yourself but with the security that you have someone there at all times. The owner, Gianni is great to deal with and made our vacation one of the best we have ever had. There is a wonderful breeze that comes off of the Ocean which was nice because we had no mosquitos. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice and the pool is wonderful to cool off in. My wife and I spent every morning at the edge of the veranda drinking our coffee and gazing at the beautiful Caribbean. This is also a great location to get away from the touristy areas like Cancun. You can drive or take a taxi a few miles South and shop or dine in the extremely friendly town of Tulum. The prices at the shops and restaurants in Tulum are also cheaper that at the more touristy areas. It is close to many ruins, snorkling areas, shopping, etc. The price for the Villa is also very reasonable and was the best that I had seen at this location for the amenities it had. Overall, I would recommend Villa Gordon for the following: View, Location, Privacy, Convenience, Relaxation, Safety, and of course, the Price.

Villa Gordon is a great place to stay! My friends and I (9 total) rented the house and had a great time relaxing, cooking, playing music, and entertaining company. Gianni, the very friendly and accommodating owner who lives upstairs, offered us complete privacy, and we were really able to have as much fun or relaxation as we wanted without any hassle. He and his helpers cooked a couple of delicious authentic meals for us... and Gianni even picked up some guitar strings for me in town when I needed a replacement. He was very helpful all around. The house is located on the beach, which is very nice, though very rocky. It is within walking distance of a beautiful cenote and a couple of restaurants. There are also a bunch of other private homes nearby, and it's about a 15 minute drive into Tulum. We would absolutely stay at Villa Gordon again, and recommend it to travelers looking for nice and affordable accommodations with friendly staff.

Nice property--not spectacular--was clean and over-all well maintained. Pool was nice, mattresses are very firm for those who like that and the bathrooms are very nice. However, one should be notified in advance that they will turn the air conditioning OFF when you are gone. The living, dining and kitchen area are all one and not set up for natural air flow from the beach breezes so temps can be very warm in the summer. The beach over-all is rocky but the area in front of the villa has hauled in sand which is nice. Exterior lights must be turned off during the turtle egg laying season--again--no one told us so be sure to ask if it is turtle egg laying season.

My husband & I stayed at Villa Gordon for 9 days in early Feb. 2007. I wish we were still there, as it snows here in March! Anyway...Villa Gordon is a very quiet, private spot. It is a great home base from which to explore the many things to do in the surrounding area. Tankah is a lovely residential area comprised of private beachfront homes...No condos or resorts here! The world class beaches & Mayan ruins of Tulum are a very short drive as are grocery stores & a multitude of resturants & shops. There are other towns close by to explore, as are larger cities. Villa Gordon is well appointed, beautifully decorated & very clean. The pool/patio area is great. I could lounge away the entire winter on the patio enjoying the breeze, coming in only for another book & beer! The beach in this area is mostly coral, but there is a very large sandy beach in front of Villa Gordon. You can walk from the house to 2 snorkeling spots, both of which we did, both pretty neat. The owner Gianni is an honest man who goes out of his way to meet your every need, as does his staff. We felt completely at home there. Would we go again? Yes, absolutely! Would have extended our stay if guests weren't coming in right behind us!!
