This large, spacious house is deceiving at first glance, but with 6 bedrooms and 3.5 baths you will find this newly remodeled home, private, quiet and very relaxing. The Dome is situated on 9.2 acres with ample outdoor parking that will accommodate 10 or more vehicles, RV's or boats with easy turn-around on the wide circular driveway.
This property will allow you to enjoy many recreational activities on-site that will not be available to you in the city, yet is only 10 minutes from all the local New Braunfels attractions (Schlitterbahn, tubing on the Comal/Guadalupe or golfing at Landa Park) without the noise, traffic, and congestion, especially during the busy peak summer season. Also within a 15 minute drive you can enjoy the Americana and Country music scene at Texas' oldest dance hall in Gruene, or polka music at Wurstfest Hall held each fall in late October.
If your vacation plans include a trip to Sea World, Fiesta Texas, the River walk, a visit to the Alamo or the State Capitol, cave exploration at Natural Bridge Caverns, the Kerrville Music Festival, or shopping at the Outlet Mall in San Marcos, the Dome is located within an hour's drive. This is a beautiful property that is extremely clean and well-equipped! The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need, the linens are provided, plus there's a washer & dryer. My only caution is that 4 of the bedrooms are upstairs, and the circular staircase is a bit narrow and rickety, so this might not work for families with lots of young children or for groups of seniors. Otherwise, this is a place I'd gladly recommend.

celebrated the new year at the dome with family and friends ,total of 11 people . lots of room for all. kitchen well stocked and 2nd fridge in laundry room was a blessing . everyone had comfortable bed . plenty of parking for all 7 vechicles . owners very nice and reservations easy to make . new heb and shopping center very close ,in case supplies needed . HIGHLY RECCOMMEND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The house fit every need we had. The decor was laid back and inviting. With no carpet to worry about kids and messes we felt very relaxed. The washer and dryer seperate from all rooms was the biggest help. With 4 different households staying together for 10 days it made washing clothes convient. Only complaint was there were a few light bulbs we had to replace and couldn't figure out a few light/fan switches but made due and really enjoyed our stay. Even had coffee with a few deer in the yard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in New Braunfels in large part due to the stay at the Dome. It was clean, built with wet clothes in mind with a large laundry room with a door its own exterior door so you don't get the house wet. We cooked out with local family members, had 4 college kids over to play pool, and had breakfast/snacks, etc. available from frig to oven stuff. So friendly for our group from 1year old to 55 years old.

I booked the dome for our Memorial Day Weekend Trip to float the river. I speak for my entire group when I say we couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay! Everything you could think of was provided. No detail was overlooked. There was lots of silverware, ice trays, a great grill, lovely patio furniture, a wonderful property, comfy beds, even paper towels in the kitchen!! It was as easy as staying at home. Having the pool table was a great way to stay entertained. I would absolutely recommend renting the dome for any kind of vacation. It was close to the river and all other fun activities in that area. I'd give the dome 6 stars if I could! We just LOVED it and I'm SURE you will too! :o)

this was one of the nicest most relaxed homes we have rented off vrbo....made the best family vacation and the plac really kept the kids entertained...great for a weekend or even a month....cant wait to go back my daughter wont stop talking about the dome this and the dome that we had people from 10-60 years old and the house catered to them .....great owners to...thanks a bunch we loved it and really enjoyed ourselves :)

I stayed at The Dome for a church fellowship retreat, and we were thoroughly impressed! By bringing a few air mattresses, we were able to sleep 15 people comfortably. The house comes stocked with utensils, cookware, plates, and cups... as well as a modest selection of games and children's DVDs. Plenty of linens and towels are provided as well. It can be peaceful and relaxing if you want it to be, but we also had a lot of fun. The pictures on the website do not do justice to The Dome. It is spacious, clean, and well taken care of. All in all, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property! All 15 of us would love to stay at The Dome again.

We were very impressed with the house. The owner had gathered fire wood for us and showed us around the house. It was clean, new furniture and kitchen, bathrooms and clean. Would recommend to everyone and will use this house again.
