The Kai rental sleeps up to 6 people and is comfortably furnished with a King bed in the master bedroom, Queen bed in the second bedroom and two twin beds in the third bedroom. The recent remodel includes all new tile floors and carpeted bedrooms, new kitchen and bathroom cabinets, GE Profile kitchen appliances, granite countertops, mirrored closet doors, doorway to private patio and more. The west wall of the living room offers floor to ceiling windows ensuring you get the most of Del Mar's sunny blue skies while looking out to your own umbrella covered table and chairs with a stainless steele gas grill. Inside enjoy watching your favorite movies on a 53" TV. Life is made easy with beach chairs, beach towels, a shade umbrella and an outdoor hot/cold shower to rinse off after a day of soaking up the sun and surf! Tandem parking for 2-cars included.
One block away are the popular beachfront restaurants: Poseidon and Jakes, offering excellent food, friendly service and fabulous oceanfront dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Within two blocks you will find the landmark Del Mar Powerhouse Community Center, Playground and Seagrove Park. Ask about the schedule for the free Summer Concerts in the Park where you can bring your own food and beverage then relax and watch the sun set over the ocean or dance the night away to live music by talented local musicians.
Around the corner from the park you will find the 'heart' of Del Mar with countless intriguing shops, delicious restaurants, fashion boutiques and galleries for all art-lovers. The Plaza offers multiple levels of options for cocktails, dining, shopping, coffee, smoothies, beauty, fashion, grocery shopping and more...with fabulous views! With the gorgeous Del Mar weather, we highly recommend strolling the beach, taking some surfing lessons, body-boarding, bodysurfing, hiking around Torrey Pines State Park, or golfing throughout San Diego . In addition to beautiful beaches and scenery, fantastic shops and decadent food, Del Mar is known throughout the world for The Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, "Where the Turf Meets the Surf". Enjoy the pageantry, enjoy the races, enjoy the family fun in the sun! The races operate during a set timeframe in the summer, from the third Wednesday in July and ending the first Wednesday in September.
Reservations: Reservations are accepted on a first-come first-deposit basis and confirmed once a deposit and signed application are received for available dates.
Deposits: All reservations require a 50% advance deposit based on the applicable rates for the time frame requested with the balance due in full 60 days prior to arrival date. Reservations made within 60 days of arrival require prepayment in full.
Other Costs: A non-refundable cleaning fee and a refundable security/damage deposit.
Check-in: 3:00 p.m. or later on Saturday.
Check-out: 10:00 a.m. or earlier on Saturday.
Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable.
