DESTIN WEST BEACH & BAY RESORT is a newer property on the family-friendly Okaloosa Island. The GULFSIDE has one of the largest pools in the area & a WATER SQUIRT PARK. Guests may use the pools at the adjacent Ramada Inn. BAYSIDE has a WATERFALL POOL & LAZY RIVER with a ZERO-DEPTH ENTRY POOL.

This 2BR+bunkroom unit is located centrally in the crescent-shaped BEACHSIDE resort. The balcony faces southwest for beautiful sunsets. This unit is located near the elevator and the SKYBRIDGE entrance. The door on the unit features a key code so that there is no longer a problem with lost/non-functioning key cards. If the code is lost, a quick phone call to the on-site management will give out a new code to have your party back inside the unit in no time. The bunk room has a lower double bed and an upper single bed and is great for kids. There is a TV/DVD combo in the bunk room as well. There are two couches in the Living Area for plenty of comfortable seating.

ADDITIONAL RATE/RENTAL INFO:
--Weekly Rates INCLUDE a cleaning/booking fee of $105 and 11% Florida tax. Daily rates do not include tax & fees.
--Fall rates apply to Holiday Bookings.
--3 Nt minimum.
However, nightly stays may not be available until 2 weeks before arrival during the summer.
--There is a $350 deposit which is due upon booking.
--If cancellation is made before 30 days of check-in there will be a $100 fee (plus tax).
--The balance due is paid 30 days prior to stay or immediately if reservation is made within 30 days of arrival.
--If cancellation/shortening of stay is made inside 30 days until check-in, there is forfeiture of the full advance payment.
--You must be age 25 or older to reserve a room and must be present during stay.
--MAXIMUM Number of Occupants is 9 persons total (including infants and children). Violators are subject to eviction.

Since the selection was becoming limited, we were pleased to be able to find a unit in the Gulfside building at Destin West as we've stayed there twice before. The price was right (considering it was "Spring Break" season) and it was the size we wanted. We appreciated the owner getting back to us and conveying our interest in the unit to the rental management. Regarding the cleanliness of the unit: it did not appear to have been cleaned very thoroughly. There was what appeared to be food sticking to and under the edge of the glass covering the coffee table and the carpet in the master suite was very dirty in the traffic area from the doorway into the bathroom. Unfortunately the fridge ice-maker never worked the whole week we were there, despite the maintenance workers taking away some of the parts for a few days and returning to fix it There were sufficient cooking pots but the frying pans and some of the utensils were in poor condition. It appears that many previous visitors to this unit have used it in a very rough manner.Recommended for: Families with young children.

Excellent condo and although we didn't think we would have a view of the beach we had an excellent view. Owner was very accommodating when I had questions and so many things to see. Pier a short walk down the beach along with a restaurant. Overall would definitely recommend this place and also stay here again.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We just got home from our 3 night stay in this condo and it was a very nice. The 3rd floor was nice, the view was awsome (you can see the gulf from the sofa) and it is a easy walk to the skybridge that is also on the 3rd floor (that leads to the bay side with the lazy river). We were also able to enjoy the pool and splash park at the Ramada, We will stay here again thats for sure. :)Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
