  This house was such a lovely place to stay! It's modern yet cozy, well maintained, and close to the downtown area. The pictures really don't do this place justice - the ceiling height in the main room was outstanding (20ft+ ceilings) and the space was perfect for dinner and board games by the fire. We also took advantage of the firepit outside. Overall we would definitely recommend this lovely home!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

  We stayed at this wonderful property with 2 other couples. There was plenty of room, an updated kitchen, and lovely firepit outdoors which we definitely took advantage of! The pictures really don't do this place justice! Overall this home is very well maintained, modern yet cozy and we would definitely recommend!

  Fiddlehead Cottage was more amazing than we anticipated. The outside is so cute but we were even more pleasantly surprised when we saw the interior. It's decorated so nicely and it was ridiculously clean and inviting. The beds were all so comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the equipment we needed. The hot tub had a great location and was very private. Overall our stay was wonderful and it was the perfect place for our Spring Break :)

  Fiddlehead is a lovely home with all the amenities you could want. The house was very well maintained and clean. The beds and bedding are plush. The hot tub was clean and provided a wonderful place to relax. We were in the hot tub while the snow was gently falling. It is within walking distance to Union Pier. We walked to the beach as well but that was quite a hike. Timothy's restaurant in Union Pier is fabulous. When we arrived there was soft music playing and it felt like home immediately.

  We loved our stay here at Christmas. The house was very clean, beautiful and well-equipped with everything we needed. Just like staying at home. It's perfect for all year season. Thanks to the owner for quick respond to emails. I would strongly recommend this place. We would definitely return!

  We stayed at Fiddlehead for a weekend getaway in October and also for Thanksgiving to host our families. Each stay was wonderful. The cottage is charming with so many thoughtful details. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the kitchen utensils, cookware, bakeware, etc, since we were cooking Thanksgiving dinner there and required a plethora of kitchen tools! The cottage is located in a very quiet neighborhood, and you feel like it's a million miles away from Chicago (in a good way)! The hot tub is a definite bonus, especially when you are surrounded by the beautiful fall leaves. Also, the fabulous Nani's Cafe is just down the road, the perfect stop for coffee and muffins when it is still open for the season. Our interactions with Paul, the owner, were very pleasant too. Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with us!

We furnished Fiddlehead Cottage with the things we would want to have in an upscale vacation home, including professional cookware and appliances. We find some for some guests, getting away means having the time to spend on recipes and meals as a form of relaxation! (I prefer the hammock).   We had such an amazing time staying at this little piece of heaven for the weekend. We loved the house so much, we wanted to spend as much time there as possible. We spent our anniversary weekend with two of our very best friends, spent time around the fire, in the hot tub and cooked some amazing meals in the fully equipped kitchen. The house was immaculate and the beds were absolutely the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. My husband and I are on the hunt to find this mattress as it is the best sleep either one of us has ever had! If you plan a stay, plan an extended stay because the weekend just wasn't quite long enough. Loved, loved this place and will definitely be back as soon as time permits! The Czarnik and Dewar Family

  Springtime weather is unpredictable. We arrived in 80 degree sunny weather, and it steadily dropped to the 40's and rain. Your beautiful woodland cottage catered to the comfort and convenience for my entire family. It's very close to Lake Michigan, galleries, antiques, and the Warren Dunes State Park. When the weather turned ugly, the hot tub and fireplace were welcome distractions.The dining room table was perfect for us to enjoy an evening of laughter and games. No one complained about the beds! Everything was clean and encouraged rest. Thank you for a wonderful place for us to reconnect as a family.
