May 8-12, 2011 My husband and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. Neither of us had ever been to Yellowstone so we decided to come here on our honeymoon. We were married May 7, 2011 in Jacksonville, Florida. We loved seeing all the wildlife and the spectacular views.

This was our first trip to the Yellowstone area. Now we know why our son and daughter-in-law recommended it so highly. The cabin was very cozy with spectacular views and numerous chances to see the pronghorn antelope and enjoy the star filled night sky. We appreciated Rocky's helpful information about the area and his company to cheer on the "Saints."

The cabin was great! It has some awesome views. We really enjoyed our stay. Rocky and Beth are wonderful people ... very nice. Loved seeing all the wildlife and taking all our road trips. We have always wanted to come to Montana so this is where we honeymooned and we wouldn't change a thing. Hope to be back soon.

The cabin was great! What a wonderful place to explore Yellowstone from. The kids particularly enjoyed swimming in Firehole Canyon and seeing the buffalo out in the Lamar Valley. We also had fun exploring the area here around Cameron. Mesa Falls was beautiful, and the hike up Sheep Creek Trail was one of the best hike we've had in years! Rocky and Elizabeth's hospitality was the icing on the cake. Thanks so much.!

Thanks so much for letting us stay in this cozy and comfortable cabin! We had a great time watching wildlife, walking, swimming, BBQing, making photos, talking to Rocky and enjoying the Lakes and much, much more! Hope to be back some day. Thanks again, Au revoir!

Our family loved the wide open spaces of Montana. We were very comfortable here and will miss it. Special thanks to the entire Andonian family for showing us Cliff and Wade Lakes, recommending Sydney's Bistro (a restaurant in West Yellowstone), and showing our sons a bit of real Montana. We hope we can return some day.

We had a great time at the cabin. We enjoyed the view and the peaceful surroundings. The boys enjoyed talking with Carlos (the ground squirrel living under the deck) and their very own apartment. (The cabin has a guest cabin.) We also enjoyed the activities in the West Yellowstone Area - Yellowstone, Playmill Theatre, horseback riding, rodeo, Mesa Falls (Island Park, ID), and Virginia City (an old west ghost town close to Ennis, MT). This is definitely a trip to remember.

It is with sadness we leave this place. So many wonderful places to see, things to do and so little time. We can only hope everyone enjoys themselves as much as we enjoyed our stay.

What a great week we have had in this lovely environment. Seeing the wolf at Yellowstone was the icing on the cake. We identified many birds, saw elk and white tailed deer. Rocky and Elizabeth were great checking on us the night the area lost power. We loved watching the antics of the ground squirrels, better than television. We will be back. But for now it is on to Seattle. We feel privileged to be fortunate to have a month in this great country. We'll take fond memories home to Australia, especially of the friendliness and helpfulness of the people.

What a truly special place this is. Looking up at the Milky Way while bats flew overhead, watching antelope wander around, and we even saw the previously mentioned "Carlos" (the ground squirrel living under the deck). Yellowstone was amazing. I will never forget the 100s of buffalo gathered in the Hayden Valley or the horseback ride in the back country. Many people tried to convince us to take our honeymoon in a tropical place but I don't think we could have picked a more perfect place. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Wow! What an incredible place! Everything about the area exceeded our expectations - the scenery, the wildlife and the weather. The cabin was a great place to come home to after a full day of rafting, sightseeing, hiking, horseback riding, etc. We loved coming back in the evenings and cooking a great meal and kicking back to watch the sun set. The cabin was comfy and cozy with everything we needed. Thank you for sharing your "little piece of heaven." P.S. The ground squirrel living under the deck was officially named "Carlos" by Kathy.

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cabin. The views are spectacular and watching the wildlife was astonishing. Your cabin is so beautiful, cozy and clean. It felt like "home away from home." We are taking back with us amazing memories and will definitely be back to share more in your cabin and in beautiful Montana. We will definitely recommend your cabin to everyone looking to visit Montana and/or Yellowstone. Thanks again for allowing us to stay in your cabin.

A wonderful week. Wildflowers and wildlife was plentiful and interesting. The best was just being here - breathing the air, seeing a real starry sky, meeting Rocky, Elizabeth and family, watching the light in the valley change with the weather and sun. We recommend the hike (or ride) to Sheep Lake - or partway up the trail - to anyone who comes here. Be sure to try to catch the moon setting over the mountains as well. We are grateful that this place exists!

Thanks for a fantastic time. The cabin is beautiful. Even with 7 people in our group we definitely had enough space. The views were breathtaking and the wildlife was intriguing. Thank you for having things so clean and neat. We hope to come back next year! A great get-away.

We have had the most AMAZING time staying in your IDYLLIC "House on the Prairie!" Your cabin was a complete surprise to us an anniversary gift from our wonderful family in California and WOW what a surprise! Your is cabin is so beautiful, a lovely haven to enjoy the panoramic views, the wildlife and the stars at night. Elizabeth and Marigold made us feel very welcome. We have been very comfortable here, it is so well equipped and they have been very helpful during our stay. We have spent four days visiting Yellowstone and yesterday we drove to the Grand Tetons to beautiful Colter Village on the Lake. In Yellowstone we saw such SPECTACULAR scenery and we have taken so many photographs. We did geysers, waterfalls, mountains, lake, all the time on the lookout for the wildlife! We were lucky enough to see a bald eagle, elk, many buffalo "up close and personal" (along the Hayden Valley) as well as a pelican and some smaller animals like marmot and chipmunks. Every day was so special as our lovely daughter acted as chauffeur and tour guide around your spectacular area. We would love to return here one day, but in the meantime we have lots of wonderful, happy memories to take back home with us. Thank you.

Our trip to Yellowstone has been one of our best trips EVER! Thank you for having us stay here. You have a wonderful vacation home in a little piece of heaven. The sky does seem bigger in Montana. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular, and we saw many of the local natives through your home's big windows - ground squirrels wrestling, owls, and antelope. Don't need the TV - just sitting here on the couch and looking outside is spectacular! We enjoyed meeting Rocky and he had some great tips on things to see. We spent much of our time hiking Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Mesa Falls. And when we were done exploring we looked forward to coming back to the comfort of your home. We have had such a wonderful time here we are sad to leave. As far as recommendations to others that may come here: 1) Trout Lake in Yellowstone - it is a beautiful hike up to the lake and then around the lake. We saw rainbow trout and an otter family playing on the banks of the lake. We regret that we did not spend more time exploring locally - but we saved something to do for next time! Many thanks for your hospitality.

We came from France and stayed 8 days in Alan's cabin with our 2 kids who loved the separate cottage. It was just GREAT. The cabin is very comfortable and had all we could need, in brand new condition. The place was really fantastic and beyond our expectations. The view is breathtaking, a sort of live IMAX cinema with a permanent show of wild animals (we saw squirrels, deer, pronghorns, bald eagles...), and the place is definitely very quiet. The only people we met were the neighbors (1 mile away ?), Rocky and his family, wo are wonderful people and now, dare I say, great friends of ours. If and when we come back to Montana, we will definitely call again. Highly recommended !

We loved every minute of our vacation. Your cabin is delightful. The views from here are simply breathtaking. Elizabeth (the wife of Rocky, the caretaker of the cabin) was such a help. We loved waking up every morning to clear skies and antelope! While in Yellowstone we saw bears, elk, bison, deer, eagles, and a coyote. The kids loved fishing at Cliff Lake and visiting Nevada City (an old west ghost town close to Ennis, MT).

Your cabin is beautiful! The view is amazing. We saw the mountain goats - babies too. We didn't get to meet Rocky (the caretaker of the cabin). We did get to meet his wife and daughter. They were very helpful and very nice. We saw Mesa Falls, and went to Cliff & Wade Lakes. Yellowstone was our favorite. We saw 9 bears, elk, bison, bald eagle, coyote. We were hoping to see a wolf and moose, but did not. The Tetons were beautiful. We also went white water rafting and horseback riding - very fun. This is the perfect place to come back to every night. We love it here. Thank you very much for sharing!

We had a great time and really enjoyed staying at your cabin. The views are great and we saw antelope and a bald eagle nearby. The nights were peaceful and the stars at night were beautiful. We really enjoyed Yellowstone and saw every animal - bear, bison, elk, deer, moose, goats, sheep, etc. Thanks again!

We just got home from Montana. We stayed in the cabin for 7 nights - it was perfect. Yeah, we drove a lot, but found anywhere you stay you will drive if you want to see everything. It is beautiful, with great views of the mountains. We have two teenage girls and they loved it too. We were approx 30 minutes from Yellowstone, which was good for us. When we left the park this was the perfect place to return too. No tourists, and very quiet. We felt it was perfect and we loved the area. We would highly recommend this.

This is a great place to get away from it all. The cabin is very comfortable and quickly feels like home. We stayed in late October and had a storm blow in one night. With the gas fireplace going and the provided blankets we sat warm and comfortable inside watching the wind and snow outside.

Escape the tourist crowds

It was great after flocking with tourists at Yellowstone and the tourist town of West Yellowstone, to get away from everyone! You do need to be prepared to do a bit of driving including a short stretch of dirt road. The cabin was modern and comfortable with a nice kitchen that was easy to cook in and easy to clean. We saw Pronghorn Antelope, Trumpeter Swans, Western Bluebirds and Prairie Dogs to add to the list of wildlife we saw in the Park. I have never seen so many stars at night, it was incredible!! The caretaker lives nearby and was very helpful but not intrusive.

My husband and I stayed at here 6/9/07-6/15/07. It was very comfortable and everything was spotless. The view was great, and although it was secluded (as most things are in Montana), we loved the location and had a great time in the nearby National Parks. I'd love to go back!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was even better than the pictures and the caretakers are the best and most helpful people. There is plenty to see and do and we would definately refer our family and friends to stay here. It totally exceded our expectations.
