Oak Lodge is a new, 3000 square foot log home situated on a private cove on Kerr Lake. A perfectly decorated, spacious and clean home just waiting for you and your family. Log home, lake-front living at its finest.
The grand living room with wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooks the wooded areas and private cove. You'll also find over 1400 square feet of deck space perfect for your family and friends; two private, screened-in porches provide the perfect place for catching up with each other about the day's events. Downstairs is perfect for the kids and the kid in you! Large play area, plenty of room to kick back, TV, four sets of french doors leading to the expansive patio overlooking the water.

We really enjoyed the home and the view was fabulous. What a great place to relax. We are definitely going to visit again..One suggestion, we had 8 people at the home this weekend and I noticed that we all gathered around the kitchen (which is great for our chef who loves to cook)and entertaining. But we were missing a few bar stools. This would be great addition to the kitchen area..Everything else was perfect and we all had a blast ..Did some fishing, boating and brought our dog who really enjoyed the dock... About the owner: I am an American Sign Language interpreter, and co-own a business providing language interpreters. When not working, I like escaping to Kerr Lake and getting out on the boat and jet skis. I have a dog and she goes with me everywhere, especially on vacation!
Why the Owner Chose Clarksville:
We built Oak Lodge in 2008 because we wanted to have a vacation lake-house at Kerr Lake to share with others. It's just three hours from our home in Charlotte, NC, which is close enough to get away on a weekend, but far enough from the busy life so we know we really did get away. We also wanted it to be a log home because the feeling a log home evokes is unlike a regular house - all the wood provides a charm like nothing else can. The property we chose to build the house is on a cove, which is important because we wanted to be able to swim safely, and have our boat not be subjected to winds and wakes.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
At Oak Lodge, we like the porches and the rustic luxury the house exudes. When we are there, we cook out on the grill a lot, and we enjoy going to Los Banditos for excellent Mexican food when the mood to cook just isn't there for us.
