Cozy Cottage On Big Barbee Lake - Available Year Round - Big Barbee Lake, Indiana Vacation Cottage Rental Big Barbee Lake is a natural lake located in a 7-lake chain near Warsaw and Ft Wayne Indiana. The lake cottage sits on a quiet cove just off Big Barbee Lake. The cottage has a 50ft seawall which provides docking for boats and other water craft. You can also fish off of the seawall for many of the fish the lake offers including Muskie, Croppie, Bluegill, Northern Pike, and Small Mouth Bass. The cottage has hardwood floors with two bedrooms with double beds and a den with a pull out sofa bed. You can sit on the screened in porch to relax and take in the lake view or jump in your boat for a short trip to nearby Kuhn Lake which offers a sand bar in the middle of the lake. It’s not uncommon to see several boats parked together at the sand bar with boaters swimming and relaxing on rafts. Big Barbee Lake is an all sport ski & fish lake and is the largest lake in the chain of seven lakes. Adjoining lakes can be accessed by a series of channels which link the lakes together. This creates a great opportunity to tour the area by boat. It also provides several locations for fishing or just anchoring the boat and swimming in the calm waters of the low speed lakes.
