Our unit is about 2400 square feet, and it has a very spacious balcony (about 600 sq ft) that has a unique panoramic view of the ocean and the Ole River. It's located in the newest "C" building, and it has a nice view of the brand new putting green golf course and water clock. It has four bedrooms: master room-king bed, guest room-queen bed, guest room-two twin beds, a large media room (which we use as our 4th bedroom)-two twin blow-up air mattresses. The living room also has a queen sofa bed. So you can easily sleep up to 10 people. It also has three private bathrooms and one-half baths which is right next to the media room. It also has a dining room table for 6 people and 4 bar stools on the large kitchen granite countertop kitchen bar.
This is a VERY spacious unit and the largest in the whole complex. It comes with a fully furnished gourmet kitchen with stainless steel Kitchenaid appliances and granite countertops in the kitchen, wet bar and in every bathroom. It also comes with a wet bar with wine cooler/refrigerator and 35 gallon ice maker. It also has a large high efficiency washer/dryer. It's also furnished with all linens, and every room has a flat screen TV and DVD player. It has direct tv with over 110 channels including HBO. We also have free T1 high speed internet (with a secured wireless network)for your laptop in our condo. There is also free high speed wireless internet in the lobby/atrium area.
There are plenty of things to do at Caribe resort: play tennis, practice your putting (golf), playground for the kids, saunas (dry and humidified), workout (large weight room and exercise machines), swimming pools (heated indoor or outdoor--with large and fast slides), large lazy river float, hot tubs (several), and most importantly the beautiful beaches!
There is also a deli on the west side of the "D" building. This serves sandwiches, ice cream etc. Next to the deli is a brand new game room where you can play video games (Nintento Wii, xbox360, playstation3, etc with large lcd tv screens) all day long for a small fee. The game room is open from 1000am to 600pm (weekdays) and 1000am to 900pm (weekends).
Caribe is definitely a five-star luxurious resort, and it's definitely one of the favorite places for the kids. We hope you enjoy your stay and come back again soon.
