Memorial Day is behind us now, but there is still time to plan your summer Adirondack lakeside vacation!
Situated in a small complex with its own 400' of waterfront and beach, this Schroon Lake townhouse has its own dock -- bring your boat or rent one from the village marina. The water at the beach is shallow, ideal swimming for children and families if the autumn weather cooperates! Eat dinner on our patio overlooking the lake and Pharoah Mountain. Relax on the Master Bedroom balcony with a book or simply enjoy the sunrise over the lake.
The townhome is new and well-appointed -- on the first floor there is a gas fireplace in the living room, a separate den, a full kitchen with dining area and a half-bath. Off of the living room/dining area there is a patio overlooking the lake, outdoor table and chairs, and a gas grill. On the second floor there are three bedrooms - a master with a queen bed, its own full bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the lake; a second bedroom with bunk beds (great for kids -- dinosaur wallpaper!); a third bedroom with twin beds, and another full bathroom.
For hikers, we are within easy access of short hikes for children and High Peaks hikes for those more adventurous. And for those of you in the mood for a little exercise, you can run or bike along the route of the Adirondack Marathon -- around the lake and right outside the door of the townhouse.
For the history minded, we are only a 1/2 hour from Fort Ticonderoga and Crown Point. In the summer, Schroon Lake has a variety of music offerings, including weekly concerts offered by the Schroon Lake Arts Council and musical theater offered by the Seagle Music Colony. Lake George, and its array of putt-putt, wax museums, and the Great Escape Amusement Park, is only an hour away. In the autumn, the fall colors will blow you away! |
