A beautiful new home filled with sunlight, beautifully and meticulously decorated, located down a quiet tree-lined path in the heart of the Village - everything you need for a relaxing and entertaining vacation. This home truly sets a new standard for Ocracoke beach vacations. The wrap-around screen porch, juniper ceilings, gourmet chef’s kitchen, foosball table, and arcade game are just the beginning!

Ocracoke was just named the #1 beach by Dr. Beach for 2007! This is a beach you don't want to miss! The attractions here are simple and unfettered; there are no go-cart tracks, mini-golf courses, water-slides or movie theaters. On Ocracoke, the island itself is an attraction. When people are here, they just don’t need as much stimulation. Quiet walks on the beach (Cape Hatteras National Seashore), fishing and clamming, looking for shells, building a sandcastle, strolling around the village, sitting on the porch swing, observing nature or chasing ghost crabs in the moonlight: These are the simple attractions on Ocracoke Island. For a little extra entertainment, bike over to the Ocracoke Lighthouse (the oldest in North Carolina and still operating), and the Preservation Museum, or go out and visit the ponies and take a little hike.

  • Queen Bed: Both queen bedrooms are decorated with hand-made quilts and the "green room" features a vanity and bench. Both bedrooms feature flat screen TV's and DVD players.

  • Cable/Satellite TV: All TV's in the house are connected to Direct TV. There is a large TV in the great room, all other TV's are flat screen TV's. There is even a TV in the kitchen.

  • Full Kitchen: This is truly a chef's dream kitchen! It is completely stocked with every item you could want. It has multiple sets of dishes and silverware. There are many unique serving pieces and platters. The oversized refridgerator is extremely helpful in storing delicious left-overs! Don't worry about finding space for your wine--we've added a wine refidgerator with dual temperatures. We've also included an ice maker. You will be thrilled to use the double oven with ceramic top stove. Some additional appliances: coffee maker (cone shaped filters), coffee bean grinder, French coffee presses (2), toaster, toaster oven, George Foreman Grill, ice cream maker, s'mores maker, panini maker, rice streamer, fondue pot, blenders (2), waffle iron, and many other fun to use items. NOTE: as are many houses on Ocracoke, our home uses well water. It is tested each year for quality. We have included a large size BRITA water purifier in the refridgerator for those wanting purified water.
  • Cooking Utensils Provided: There are 3 complete sets of utensils for your use. Many pots and pans of various sizes also available. Also included are multiple tools to aid in your gourmet dinners.
  • Refrigerator: Side-by side stainless steel refridgerator and wine refridgerator.
  • Dishwasher: Stainless steel dishwasher, top rack can be moved (lower or higher depending on need)

  • Enjoy a sunset cruise while listening to pirate songs and chants aboard the Windjammer, take an excursion to the deserted island of Portsmouth and enjoy riding ATV's around while on a guided tour, the National Park Service offers many opportunities for kids (such as learning how to crab or searching for sea turtle nests), get on-board the Gecko with Captain Ernie to fish in the sound or gulf stream, learn how to surf at Surf Camp, beat the heat by renting a scooter, take a leisurely walk to the Ocracoke Lighthouse or Springer Point Nature Preserve, listen to live music at restaurants and local pubs.
