High-Bank Waterfront, Breathtaking Views & Outdoor Hot Tub!
- Minimum stay:2-7 nights

- Pets allowed:Yes
- Wheel chair accessible:No
Very private, high-bank waterfront home with breathtaking views of Puget Sound. Expansive views from Mt. Baker to Mt. Rainier with the Cascade Mountains and Seattle city views in between. This eastern facing home captures the most incredible sunrises. You'll marvel at the shipping lane traffic as motorboats, sailboats and container ships quietly glide by.
During the summer, you'll also enjoy watching the varied cruise ships as they leave their respective Seattle docks and head towards Alaska. Eagles frequently fly overhead and nest in nearby trees. Binoculars are provided to capture these amazing sights.
During the evening, take advantage of the propane BBQ grill or relax in the outdoor jacuzzi as you enjoy the twinkling lights of the Seattle skyline.
Inside, the master bedroom offers a waterfront view and its own private bathroom with a shower and separate bath as well as a comfortable king-size bed & plasma TV. The second bedroom also has a comfortable king-size bed. The third bedroom has a peek-a-boo view of the water and both a full bed and a twin bed. This room also has a small TV/DVD player and is complete with books, tapes, board games and videos. The second bathroom is located in the hallway and offers a tub/shower combination.
This is our fourth year to rent this fabulous home as a vacation rental. We've completely furnished this home to make it a comfortable get-a-way (all amenities including a full-size washer & dryer!) While there is not direct beach access available from this home, the fabulous Fay Bainbridge State Park is less than 1 mile away and offers picnic areas with grills, playground equipment and fantastic beach-combing.
THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO-SMOKING ALLOWED INSIDE THIS HOME.
DUE TO THE HIGH-BANK & OUTDOOR JACUZZI, CHILDREN AND/OR PETS SHOULD BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES WHEN OUTDOORS.

Spent Christmas week on Bainbridge Island visiting relatives in the area. The home was easy to get to but also secluded which provided the optimum privacy. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are in an L shape which provides ample open area for guests along with a lovely view of the water as well as Seattle and the mountains beyond. Our host was kind enough to provide a Christmas tree which added soething special to our stay. We had an extremely enjoyable stay.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We rented for the month of July and had a wonderful experience. Kay was extremely easy to work with and responsive, but we barely needed her, because the home is perfectly appointed and quite comfortable. The beds and pillows are outstanding, so comfortable that it was hard to return home. The kitchen is well-appointed, and the living and dining areas are lovely as well (the living room seemed bigger to me in person than it appears in the picture). But the real action is outside. The deck is a perfect spot to watch cruise ships, container ships, birds (eagles, herons, seahawks, gulls). The hot tub is the nicest I have seen in a home rental (and we have done a lot); it's giant, and the jets are seriously powerful. Location-wise, this place really worked for us. It's about 12 minutes from the ferry terminal, and a short drive to the tiny, wonderful Rolling Bay area (general store, post office, fresh pasta shop). There is also a farm-stand on Day Road easily accessible that suited our produce needs perfectly, and Fay Bainbridge Park is walkable from the house (about 0.9 miles). A terrific place overall, with a wonderful, serene vibe. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

This home was a wonderful surprise...very clean, spacious, comfy, quiet, private and stunning views!! Mt. Rainer takes the breath away. Watching shooting stars while soaking in a hot tub, one of my favorite things. This house provided us with everything we wanted, needed and more. Very nice stay with family in the vacation home. Very comfortable, well equipped. We just had to buy food. Incredible views, nice spacious kitchen. We did not want to leave. A good starting point for fun things to do in the area. We are a retired couple who have become winter gypsies - staying in vacation rentals from November thru April. We stayed in the Eagles' Perch for 2 months this fall - November and December - before heading to Southern California. What a great place! It is extremely comfortable and very-well equipped. The kitchen seemed to have everything needed for even the most particular cook (my wife, Martha) - and that's not even to mention the incredible view from the expansive kitchen windows. The house has a lot of natural light coming in from the numerous windows and skylights which is a wonderful feature on stormy Northwest days. The master bedroom has a king bed and is as comfortable as any bed we have ever slept in. The large master bath is very nice. We sat in the hot tub on the deck at night in all kinds of weather and watched the ships go by in Puget Sound. EXCELLENT. Kay and Glenn (the owners) are great. We shall return!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, pet owners, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We have just returned to normal life after a week in this extraordinary rental home. Imagine driving a quarter-mile through a forest, to discover a light-filled, handsome, well-appointed, single-level home spread out on a high bank above the Sound. On the other side of the house, you walk out from the living room or master bedroom onto a wide, long deck---complete with hot tub, grill, table, chairs, umbrella, flowering plants---and a 180-degree view of the Seattle coast and the Cascades! Imagine, while you're at it, enjoying every moment spent in the kitchen (including cleanup), because that same view stretches out in front of you. The owners have provided just about everything any renter could want in the way of amenities and conveniences, plus a pantry full of cooking staples and spices. The only serious problem we found with this rental was our having to leave it.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Stayed here first week of September. Absolutely perfect! If anything, the description does not do the property justice. Entering the property, you feel like you are in a Pacific NorthWest forest (even had blackberry bushes with tons of ripe berries to be picked). Then, out on the deck, you see a totally different world: Pugent Sound, Seattle, Mount Ranier. What a glorious week!!!! The views from the family room, kitchen and master bedroom are breathtaking! Can't wait to go back!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Wonderful choice for a girls' weekend getaway! We've stayed in Alaska, Idaho, Washington, Portland, California, and Vegas, we loved this place! We loved everything about it, especially the secluded location and hot tub. Not much better than sitting in the hot tub, enjoying watching the sunrise over the city and Mt. Rainier. Absolutely perfect!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2
