Why the Owner Chose Hot Springs
This a place that we could hopefully retire to someday...in the meantime we want to share it with those who want to get -away -from- it -all for awhile.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We lead very busy lives.and this house and the area provide a very healthy and necessary retreat where we can reconnect with nature and ourselves.
The sounds of birds, leaves rustling and water whispering by the roadside....peace, quiet, solitude, paradise. Asheville and Hot Springs are not far away if we want to socialize, shop or dine out...but we're very happy to get cozy at the house; it's so comfortable.
Owner's Map of Hot Springs
I'm a freelance producer and videographer; Kelly works for a charitable foundation. We love our lives and our work and very involved in all that our work demands. We also love to escape from it all and getaway our mountain retreat where solitude and serenity abound. Romantic, secluded, intimately surrounded by trees and the mountainside. Specatacular stargazing at night from the front porch; amid the lulling whisper of the roadside stream and the gentle chorus of rustling leaves. This is the place to read, write, relax and just 'be'.

My husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary with our baby boy this past week. We had such a wonderful and relaxing time! The house was HUGE and beautiful. We mainly stayed downstairs since there were only the three of us (not to mention chasing after an infant who can crawl, kept us downstairs) It was very cozy and we felt like we were at home. We'll be sure to come back for another mountain escape. Thank yoU!

My wife and I escaped to this wonderful, private mountain retreat for our 10th anniversary weekend. It was perfect in every way! Beautifully decorated and outfitted with all the amenities one would expect, including a nice selection of DVDs, bath salts for the big tub, candles, etc. It's well kept by the owners and has a lovely front deck from which you get a nice view of the surrounding mountains and woods. The drive to and from Asheville is rather twisty and turny, but in a good way, with breathtaking views. It took us about 30 minutes each way to get to downtown Asheville. Hot Springs is another nearby destination, just about 20 minutes north. Loads of hiking close by, too. Highly recommended!

My wife and I visited this house and had a great time. We did walks right out the front door on a cleared, dirt road in the woods with no traffic. It is right next door to beautiful 100+ acre area that has some houses but no traffic. On the days we ventured away from the house by car to a walk in a nearby state park or a canoe trip in Hot Springs NC, we drove on through some picturesque mountain views. The house itself had 2 rooms upstairs that we didn't even use on this trip. In the past we have stayed here and the kids took over those rooms. The kitchen is first rate and the internet access made it possible for me to do some remote web work necessary that week. I give this place a full 5 stars after 2 visits and would go there again as time permits in our schedule.
