Located in The Landings, a collection of private homes closer to the Gondola than all other private homes. You wont need a car here, and if you bring one anyway, it might sit in the garage, as you can walk to anywhere in the ski area base easily, and ride the free city shuttle.
It is about 200 yards to the slopes and Gondola Square, a SAFE walk AWAY from the roads that can be done in ski boots. Halfway there, you have a grocery store, rental shop, and restaurant. When returning, you can ski to this point, and cut off half of the walk! In the summer, this path is a greenway/bikepath that makes getting around the village a snap, and connects to other pathways.
Renting your equipment? Even Better! Rent from one of the shops in Gondola Square that will store your equipment overnight, and your shoes during the day. This way, you can make the walk without having to carry anything, and wearing your own shoes.
One of the best things about this location is the noise. There is none! You are in the heart of the mountain village, yet you don't have any of the noise that you sometimes find when you stay in condos or townhomes. The neighborhood is quiet, with a private street that is lightly used.
The home itself is perfect for one LARGE family or 2 smaller ones! It sleeps 12 in beds, but is more comfortable for smaller numbers. Need more space? We have a 4-Bedroom rental property right next door, as well as another 3 and another 4-Bedroom right across the street.
It is a newer home, and new to the rental market, so it is in great condition. Here's how it is set up:
Entry Level - 2 Car Garage, 1/2 bathroom, Fully-equipped Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room, and back deck with private hot tub. The Living room features 25 foot vaulted ceilings, a gas fireplace, leather furniture, and entertainment center. The back deck has a gas grill and seating for summer evenings. The Hot Tub is brand new as of December 2007.
Upstairs - The master suite features a King Bed, TV, private balcony, vaulted ceilings, jacuzzi tub, his & hers sinks, & shower.
Downstairs - 2 Bedrooms and a shared, full bathroom. The first bedroom has 2 Full (aka Double) beds, which when put together can become an Ultra King size bed. The second bedroom has 2 Bunk Beds, each with a Full Futon style bed on the bottom and a Twin on the top.
