A very quiet 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath house on Inverness Ridge with views of Black Mountain and the southern end of Tomales Bay. Property is adjacent to Point Reyes National Seashore, on a dirt road that connects to a vast network of hiking/biking trails to Limantour Beach, Bear Valley Trail, and other park highlights. Sleeps 7, two night minimum. Located off Drakes View Road.
Modern custom house has tall ceilings and beautiful kitchen with cherry cabinets. Upstairs is an open floor plan with kitchen, dining, and living area with small nook for reading with futon,internet cable connection,and a covered deck with BBQ, chairs and teak table for outdoor dining. Simple, non-cluttered decor.
Downstairs are two smaller bedrooms, each with a queen bed and dresser and opening onto a deck. The third bedroom is large: the "kids/family room" with a bunk bed (double on the bottom and twin on top - photo on request), a large Pottery Barn style sofa and a TV, DVD and video player, and some family DVDs and videos. Perfect for two small families to share. The 1/2-bath is on the landing between upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs has a full bath with an extra large tub and double-head shower. The laundry area has a washer and dryer for your use.
No pets or smoking allowed. Cable internet access(not cable TV).

We had a wonderful family vacation with 6 adults (three couples) in this lovely home. The views of the bay and hills are spectacular, the kitchen has everything one needs to prepare even complicated meals and there is plenty of room to find a solitary spot to read or just look at the views. The area has much to offer - in a week we could only begin to discover all the hiking available - and lots of other places, such as Napa and San Francisco, are about an hour's drive. We hope to return soon!

This is a great place for vacation, we stayed there for one week with 7 persons and thoroughly enjoyed it. The view from the living room with fog climbing and descending down the hill in California sun is unforgettable. One hour (really) drive to San Francisco through the Golden Gate, nice beaches within a short drive, we just loved it.

just got back from a 3 night stay at this lovely property. We were sharing the house with another couple in their 50s. Perfect place for exploring Point Reyes National Seashore. The owners have compiled a large notebook with advice about local restaurants, trails, wildflower identification. Great deck to eat breakfast on - a raven came and visited us every morning!

Five people, four adults, one 12 yr old-spent a wonderful weekend in this house. The house is quite comfortable and has everything you will need. 12 yr. old loved the large middle bedroom with the bunkbeds. The ping pong table in the garage was an added bonus. The house was very clean and bright-a lot of windows to let the sun in. The owner responded qucikly to all inquiries prior to our trip and we received our refunded deposit in less than a week. It is only a few minutes to the little town of Inverness, where we enjoyed some BBQ oysters at the local deli. They will grill to order on weekends. Loved Cowgirl Creamery in Point Reyes Station. We were pleased with all aspects of our trip and look forward to staying at this home again.
