"The Village at Bear Trap Dunes" has everything you and your family could desire for a memory filled vacation! Our lovely townhouse is located within minutes of the many amenities offered in this Victorian style village by the sea!
As a guest you will have access to a four-star 27 hole championship golf course, an outdoor pool, kiddie pool, indoor lap pool, basketball courts, fitness center with Cybex exercise equipment, saunas, playground, Har-Tru tennis courts and serene walking trails. There is a complimentary beach shuttle to Bethany Beach. And a newly renovated restaurant at the clubhouse! Our home is only a 1 to 2 minute walk to all of these activities.
It is designed with an open 2 story floor plan. The first floor has a living room with a gas fireplace and queen sofa bed, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, powder room and laundry room. Also located on this floor is the master bedroom (king bed) with its own bathroom. The second floor has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two twins. These bedrooms share a 'Jack and Jill' bathroom. A one car garage is attached.
Unspoiled beaches, historic sites, Ocean City boardwalk, outlet shopping in Rehoboth are all within 30 minutes of Bear Trap. Day trips can be made to Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington DC.
Best of all is the peace and quiet you will experience when you relax after a day on the course or beach while sitting on either the screened porch or deck overlooking the first tee of the Kodiak Golf Course! The scenery is beautiful and it's great fun watching groups tee off. You can barbeque and dine inside or out as your vacation day ends!

We just got back from our stay at this great little house near Bethany Beach. The house couldn't be more convenient located to the community pavilion, where there is a large outdoor swimming pool, outdoor kiddie pool, indoor lap pool and gym facilities. Also extremely close to the golf course clubhouse which has a very good restaurant. In addition, there is very regular bus service from the pavilion to Bethany Beach, which makes for convenient trips to the boardwalk and oceanfront, which we did regularly. Our three kids (ages 2, 4 and 6) loved the community, the pool, and the Bethany Boardwalk. They also got a big kick out of sitting on the back deck and watching golfers tee off at the first tee. The interior of the house is nicely decorated and well laid out. The cathedral ceilings give a really spacious feel to this home, so it is even more attractive in person than shown in the pictures. Also has a nice, and well-stocked kitchen. We will definitely visit again!
Recommended for:Age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children.
