A shower for two? Make your way down the movie "hall of horrors" with King Kong and Planet of the Apes. Step into a new, floor to ceiling, all tiled bath decorated in a soft art deco motif from Hollywood's heyday. "Some like it Hot" was a hit for Marilyn and it can be for you too! It is just the two of you, so linger as long as you like!
Sumptuous 1000 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets await your tired body and down pillows for your head in an opulent king size bed, with year round down comforter. Your top floor room has a balcony overlooking tall oaks and the third hole green of the golf coarse. No need to get up early, breakfast in bed is a must, with a bed tray provided! Luxury in paradise and breakfast in bed! All the elements of a memorable and romantic getaway for two!
We are offering concierge service for reservations. There are golf specials and unlimited casino boat cruise boarding passes which include a free buffet. Valentine's Day, anniversaries and honeymoons are our specialty...if you need help making arrangements, we here with the best suggestions for dining, etc.
Bicycle tours are available with the rental. Tours include a local farm for fresh strawberries or blueberries, a winery for a wine tasting, an aquatic museum, the beach of course, and a planetarium. HI! We are Judy & Frank! We have been locals to the area for 20 years and are from upstate originally. We have the areas only bicycle tour company because we are both avid cyclists. Frank loves to go deep sea fishing and this is fantastic water for it. We've been happily married for 25 years and have two grown children. We've always had a romantic spot for the sea and genuinely enjoy sharing it with our renters!
After all, this is where we come for our romantic getaways....and it's still working after all these years
Why the Owner Chose Calabash
We own several units here. We rent the one out and keep the others for family and friends. The location is so ideal for anything you might want to come to Myrtle Beach to do. But when it comes to the water and the sand, it HAS TO BE Sunset Beach! It's soooo much cleaner and less crowded! The small town feel of Calabash and Sunset Beach remind us of our hometown years ago. It's so great to know there are still places like this left!
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
As we said, we love to cycle! The routes are everywhere and conditions are such that you can sight see or get in a workout in relative safety.
Frank's passion for fishing is as boundless as the ocean! Even if we don't go out we can get fresh seafood at the docks everyday!
We are just getting into the golf and are finding it...challenging. There are no shortage of courses and the winter specials make it very affordable.

My husband and I liked this complex so much we bought here! It really is the best location! We first stayed here during memorial day weekend....how wonderful to be able to get around to all our favorite spots with no traffic pile ups....and no noise! We decided to share our unit with other "love birds" so we've remodelled top to bottom and made it affordable. Allow us to share our "little secret for love birds" with you. We'll be happy to make prior arrangements for special occations as well!
