We go to NO ofter and this is the 2nd VRBO rental. Hotel never again. I knew the location would be great but with Bourbon St as crowded as Madi Gras it was nice to go 1 block over and have sanity.. Friends at the Ritz would walk down in the evening & we'd have drinks on the patio befor going to a great meal. The only concern I'd have is A. It would be tight with more than 2 people.. B. The bedroom is really dark (and I know the overhead light is going to be replaced) it was hard to seeto get things out of the suitcase.If there had been a rack for a suitcase it would have helped some. C. As large as the bathroom was, a small table or something was needed to put toileties on. The 2 glass shelves were not large enough for all the things most people bring with them. Overall,we stay there again. Great for a 2 person get-away just blocks from anything you want in the Quarter. Thanks.

I stayed at this perfect place again for five days in late-September (I really have nothing to add to my previous review - but it is nice to find that nothing has changed and to re-iterate that the location is perfect and amazingly quiet).

My husband I stayed here in early July and this property is FABULOUS!!! The condo is quite, comfortable, close to EVERYTHING, and the condo neighbors are very friendly. The courtyard was so serene and the best place to start the day, take a break during the day, and end the day. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay. Jack, the owner, is great and wonderful to deal with. Thank you so much, we will be back!!!

A cozy condo with everything you need

My husband and I visited New Orleans in early June to celebrate the start of summer. We can't imagine ever staying anywhere else except this condo. The location of the apartment, the quality of everything inside and the beautiful courtyard were beyond what even the pictures show. We met many people in New Orleans who complained about their hotel rooms and the crazy rates they were paying and it made us even more excited about our choice to stay at Jack and Claudia's place.

My husband and I visit New Orleans quite regularly and we found Jack & Claudia's place to be one of the most pleasant places we have stayed. It is quite convenient to all areas, very safe and just perfect for 2 people to relax. It is very clean and comfortable and offers quite a few amenities.

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about this place! It is so quiet and comfortable, yet so close to everything! The pictures do not do it justice! We have stayed in New Orleans several times but have never had the convenience combined with tranquillity. It was never a problem during the day to just go back and sit in the beautiful courtyard for a bit of relaxation. The owners are wonderful to work with and happy to help with any questions you might have about New Orleans. We will rent this unit again and again. You simply can not go wrong!!

I really have little to add to previous positive reviews. It is supremely comfortable for one or two. And given its proximity to Bourbon Street, amazingly quiet! New Orleans can be a VERY expensive place to stay, dine and drink (and some worth it: specifics upon request).This apartment provides adjacent, reasonably priced alternatives: the Toulouse grocery store two blocks away with cheap meals to-go; Moon Wok across the street with high quality Chinese/Vietnamese food; and the bar next door, Good Friends, just that with a scotch for $2.75. I shall return!!

PERFECT.....JUST PERFECT!!!!

We stayed at this charming condo for a week at the end of May. The owner was very helpful in answering any and all of our questions. The greeter was more than helpful upon our arrival and made our arrival in the Quarter very pleasant. The condo itself was very charming with beautiful hardwood floors and high ceilings. The bathroom off the bedroom was very large, complete with a whirlpool tub and steam shower. The main living area was well appointed with a sleeper sofa that was ideal for our one year old child. The completely furnished kitchen is great if you want to eat in. The courtyard is a great place to unwind at the end of the day. Located on a quiet and safe residential area the condo is in a perfect location. It is within a couple blocks of everything including the French Market, Jackson Square, and the River but one would never guess you are just one block from Bourbon. We cant thank the owner enough for sharing his place with us and we cant wait to come back!!!

Excellent Location Yet Private and Secluded

This is a fantastic little hideway a block from the Quarter, a block from Malhalia Jackson theater and a small grocery store. All of the action is so close, but yet the little condo is so hidden down a little alley and quaint courtyard, you don't know its even there. Safety is also great as the gate to the alley has a lock as well as the double sets of condo doors. Regina that manages the property for the owners is so helpful - the owner's Quarter parking pass had expired so she went over early, parked her vehicle in a spot right outside that did not require a pass so when we arrived, we had a reserved space. It is a small space but extremely well laid out, very nicely appointed and really romantic for couples. There is a separate jacuzzi tub from the stand up shower in a huge, modern bathroom. I will definitely rent again for any other trips to NO.

A little piece of heaven in the middle of the French Quarter

This condo is PERFECT. The location is excellent and it's so inviting. The condo has a great, well appointed kitchen and excellent for hanging out. The high ceilings add to the "old New Orleans" feel. The bathroom is surprising large and offers a steam shower and seperate garden tub. One of the best features is the beatiful courtyard, who knew all this would lie around the corner. Absolutely will rent this place on my next visit!
