Burt Lake is part of the famous Inland Waterway that connects Crooked and Pickerel Lakes to Burt Lake via the Crooked River. Mullett Lake and Lake Huron can be accessed by continuing along the Indian and Cheboygan Rivers. This area enjoys numerous water activities including an annual boat race through the waterway.
The location of our cottage is convenient to many great towns, sightseeing activities, and restaurants. The local conservancy and University of Michigan biological station have miles of hiking trails cut through the woods, many of which can be accessed by a five minute walk.
Our charming three bedroom, two bath cottage is on the quiet northwest side of Burt Lake. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed, one upstairs bedroom a queen, and the other has twins. There is a large deck at the end of the dock, with Adirondack chairs and lots of room for relaxing. Swimmers enjoy the lake's sandy bottom. There is a grassy lawn with centuries old maple and pine trees to provide shade while you relax in the hammock.
Come and enjoy! You won't be disappointed. |
