The bus is at your door, ferry is four blocks and PATH (subway) is eight blocks from the apartment. Simple Easy Airport Trip, can ride by trains, buses, taxi's etc at all NYC and NJ Airports.
Stevens Institute is only two blocks away. There are many great shops, parks and restaurants within walking distance -- Laundry, Bagel Shop, Deli, Restaurants are just across the street.
