About this property

Nautical Star' is all about luxury! Our five bedroom vacation home, sits high on the hill overlooking the ocean. Access to the beach. The outdoor pool has been updated and Air Conditioning was added.

A large wrap-around deck offers plenty of room for family fun and entertaining. The deck features a large pool, hot-tub, outdoor fireplace, outdoor shower, hammocks and built-in Big Green Egg barbecue. There are also propane bbqs.

The large living room has full glass front for maximum water views and a floor to ceiling propane fireplace. The custom designed kitchen, with island and Kitchen Aid stainless appliances will impress even gourmet cooks! Main floor bathroom and laundry and two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the second with two single beds.

Upper level features master bedroom with king-size bed and a full bath with whirlpool tub and glass shower with body jets. Master bedroom also adjoins loft sitting area with private second floor deck. Perfect for relaxing with morning coffee or enjoying spectacular sunsets and a cool drink.

A fully developed lower level offers a fourth and fifth bedroom with queen beds, full bath with therapeutic tub, and family room with pullout beds for additional sleeping. The family room also has a large screen satellite TV and air hockey.

Our vacation home is the perfect location for family fun and relaxation. It offers top of the line furnishings and bedding.

Beautiful Home

Home was beautiful, had everything we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub , weather was a little rainy so didn’t get a chance to use the pool. Lost anchor , Turkey tavern and Blue mussel cafe were all excellent places to eat. Was pretty surprised that it costs 50.25 to get off the Island, more surprised that the locals have to pay it 😢

Very enjoyable stay in Stanley Bridge

This was a great stay for our family! We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The kitchen was very well stocked with every utensil and device needed. Beautiful grounds. We would definitely come back here when next in PEI. Thank you Duane and Susan.

Overall, we were pleased with the property. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub; found the kitchen to be well-equipped and a pleasure to work in; and particularly enjoyed the location near Stanley Bridge. We were disappointed that the view of the water shown in the pictures actually wasn't there--at least not from the main deck area. We never did locate the correct kayaks or a safe dock from which to launch them. We have some suggestions, but they seem moot at this point. We'd certainly recommend the property--it was great to have our dog and room for friends to join us.

Absolutely Fabulous

This house was all we could have asked for. Beautiful private property. We experienced luxury . We were 10 people, aged 11 to 80 and all felt we were in a special place. Easy access to any where on the island. Owners were available when needed and totally non intrusive.

Exceptional Vacation Rental

Beautiful house with amenities that the 3 teens that were with us thoroughly enjoyed, from the heated pool and hot tub to the air hockey table. We had a great vacation in PEI and want to thank Duane and Susan for sharing their wonderful home with us. They promptly answered all of our questions and as an added touch left us bread, jam, and wine to enjoy during our stay!

Duane is native to PEI growing up in the Western end of the island. He built the nautical star and designed all the features himself, including the star design in the hardwood floor.

It is quite, beautiful and well stocked with just about everything you should need. It offers watersports such as canoeing and kayaking at the property and is extremely unique amongst rental properties.

What makes this property unique

The Nautical Star is located on a quiet lane, has direct water access for walking along the shore and hammocks in both the sun and the shade for relaxing. It is close to a large # of golf courses, bakeries, etc.
