ACCOMODATIONS:
Two very nice bedrooms,one up and one down, each with KING BEDS, premium, comfy bedding, private adjoining baths, phones in every room, TV, alarm clocks, closets, dressers and ceiling fans throughout. We also provide premium convertable bedding (not futons or air matresses) for additional guests in the large GAMEROOM WITH REGULATION POOL TABLE upstairs. The living area has a safe STONE FIREPLACE, TV, DVD, nice furniture and NATURAL VIEWS!
In the upstairs gameroom are two oversized fixed windows to view the mountains and LIGHTS of TOWN. Enjoy a game of pool on the REGULATION SLATE TABLE while listening to your favorite music on the CD music system. If you choose to cook or even just snack, you'll be delighted with the full-sized, very well equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, ice maker, blender, toaster and much more. Why the Owner Chose Gatlinburg
In the late 1990's we were transfered to western NY and decided we needed a place to gather family and friends in the South...only thought we had was Gatlinburg...but WHERE? We made several trips house hunting and almost gave up until we found a builder from Georgia who had just bought property in-town. We couldn't believe the location and we jumped on it!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin/Chalet
We enjoy hearing the town below us and knowing we are private and secluded but not isolated from the world. Our children would walk to town and spend the day then call us to pick them up, which was less than a minute away. We loved being above the town, but having all the city services like trash pick-up, city water/sewer, maintained roads. We could come here to relax and not worry about anything going wrong.

Although Sue and I are not retirement age, we decided many years ago that we wanted to retire in the Smokey Mountains. We have been coming here all our lives with our children and family and always enjoyed the area. I (Mike) actually grew up in East Tennessee and moved to Virginia in my teens. We love the area for its relaxed atmosphere and friendly people. It's really great when you see everyone walking through town smiling everyday!

We have stayed in several nice hotels in many different places and a couple of cabins/condos and your place is definatley top notch! I was impressed with everything from the cleanliness of the carpets to the wonderful choice of linens. I thought the snacks were very thoughtful! I thought I had slept on nice sheets and blankets before, but when I got into bed, I couldn't believe how nice the sheets and blankets were. Not only did they feel good, but they smelled clean and just washed. i wanted to take the chair in front of the fireplace home with us (ha ha) It was my favorite place to sit. The only problem we had with the place was leaving! I am sure I could find a luxury cabin in the Smokies that would have the same high standards, but not for the price you offer! And thank you so much for taking care of the Hot Tub so well. We have stayed at places with 'clean' hot tubs before and they were definately not clean in comparison. I could tell you actually cleaned it and not just dumped chemicals in it. Oh, and the Parking Pass was wonderful!

Had another great stay! Noticed all the new things since we were her in March- coffee maker and living room chair is nice addition. As always the bed was like sleeping in heaven. We opened the door to a pleasant smelling & spotless cabin. It exceeded our expectations in every way! We have been to Gatlinburg 22 times and I can honestly say Kickerback Kottage is the best place we have ever stayed.The surrounding the cabin are georgous and you can totally relax. We reccomend Kickerback for a pleasant vacation.

Our stay has been perfect! The kottage is so clean and organized. We loved all the extras you provided, the snacks,little mints, water and all the ammenities, such as dish detergent, washing machine powder. Your kottage has been the best by far of any we have stayed in the Gatlinburg area.We will be back!
