We had a great time in Gatlinburg. The cabin was very clean and relaxing! We loved the easy access to town and really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The round chair in front of the fireplace was AMAZING to curl up and read a book. Beds were very comfortable! We hope to visit again soon!!

This was a perfect place for a home away from home. My husband and I, my daughter and her boyfriend all loved the hot tub and a friendly game of pool at night. We will be back as soon as possible. All the amenities you will need. The walk from town was a bit steep but overall a great location.

Mike & Sue, I just wanted to let you know that we had a great weekend! The girls getaway was a success, we didn't want to leave!! We LOVED your cabin. It had everything we could possibly need PLUS some. Very beautifully decorated. Close to downtown but still very peaceful and quiet. Everything was GREAT! Everyone left with your business card or your information so that when we return, either together or with our families, we can give you a call. We didn't see any bears :-( but we did have a few visitors - 2 cats - they mostly stayed under the porch while we were there :-) We will all recommend your cabin to any of our friends that mention going to Gatlinburg. Hopefully we will be calling you again in October. Thank you for all the little touches!!

the cottage itself was just ok; the deck has a hot tub, there is no mountain view at all, only many varieties of trees in your face. there could be a view if about 20 trees were removed, possibly. i saw no twinkling lights from downtown, either. if you want total seclusion, this is your place, but if you want a view (of anything) look elsewhere.

Kickerback Kottage is absolutely the perfect Gatlinburg "home away from home". Spotless, nicely decorated, comfortable and homey. The location is the best we've found in 25 years of visiting Gatlinburg. Mike & Sue go out of their way to make your stay pleasant with nice touches like snacks, board games, lots of extra towels and a fully equipped kitchen. The fact that this adorable Kottage is pet friendly makes it even better. My two pugs greatly enjoyed their stay and loved relaxing on the deck. I highly recommend Kickerback Kottage!

Kickerback for a good Kick Back time

We were blessed to be able to use this lovely residence as our launching pad for our first family vacation. We greatly appreciated all of the amenities, and the sweet and thoughtful touches, like the grocery discount cards, and the rain poncho in the closet, and the little bags of cookies and juiceboxes in the welcome basket. We were touched at the forethought that went into our stay and will remain very appreciative of all of the fond memories created with our 3 and 4 year old little girls. We stayed the first week of June, following Memorial Day, and the weather was all that could be asked for, with occasional showers. The informative binder listing out maps of the town, places of interest, restaurants, family attractions, etc was a wonderful item! The AAA books about TN and NC upstairs in the pool room were most helpful and I am sorry we did not discover them earlier, but now we have more to plan to do for next years trip! We will definitely be back and my hats off to the owners for seeing to our every need and ensuring a clean and comfortable stay.

Kickerback Cottage is a very family oriented and nicely decorated place to stay. They include quite a few amenities and supply items that you may have forgotten to bring with you. They really go above and beyond what is expected of them. It is a wonderful place to kick back and forget all the worries you may have in your life.

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely kottage with us. I already referred you place to family and friends. You were a delight to work with, especially, under short notice, It was also very kind of you to return the charge for the dog we did not bring along. That was not something we exspected, but just another testimony to your superb customer service. The kottage was appointed so beaurifully and the beds were so comfortable. We wanted to take them with us when we left to Louisville for a family wedding. Our 15 year old daughter and her best friend who turned 16, while we were there, made such great memories. They have posted their pictures all over facebook, thanks to the connectivity while we were there.

I would highly recommend this chalet to anyone! It is very clean(including the Hot Tub-which is drained & cleaned after every guest!!!) & the owners are very nice people & easy to work with. I just wanted to take the time to tell you how much the kids and I loved you cottage. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. I wrote briefly in the guest book, but I wanted to express my thoughts privately as well. We have been to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area many times before, but your place was perfect!! The boys totally loved the upstairs, too!! The Christmas tree was the most special touch. It was just a great trip. I have attached a couple of pictures of the boys in the Hot Tub and our pet in the snow on the deck.

We had a great stay at Kickerback Kottage, even though the weather was less than desirable. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cabin and the modern furnishings and appliances. My daughter and I played many games of pool and we tried to assemble the 1000 piece puzzle but ran out of time after only completing about half of it. And the easy drive into town was also something that we appreciated along with the parking pass. We definitely are interested in returning.

We have stayed in several nice hotels in many different places and a couple of cabins/condos and your place is definatley top notch! I was impressed with everything from the cleanliness of the carpets to the wonderful choice of linens. I thought the snacks were very thoughtful! I thought I had slept on nice sheets and blankets before, but when I got into bed, I couldn't believe how nice the sheets and blankets were. Not only did they feel good, but they smelled clean and just washed. i wanted to take the chair in front of the fireplace home with us (ha ha) It was my favorite place to sit. The only problem we had with the place was leaving! I am sure I could find a luxury cabin in the Smokies that would have the same high standards, but not for the price you offer! And thank you so much for taking care of the Hot Tub so well. We have stayed at places with 'clean' hot tubs before and they were definately not clean in comparison. I could tell you actually cleaned it and not just dumped chemicals in it. Oh, and the Parking Pass was wonderful!

What a pleasant surprise to walk into such a beautifully furnished, clean home. This means a lot coming from us as we are very picky (won't walk barefoot on hotel carpet, lysol everything before we touch it)! IT IS CLEAN. A relaxing vacation from the get-go. Played pool, grilled out, soaked in the hot tub (also clean as a whistle). Very convenient to town and action, yet removed enough to feel secluded. We took a great hike to Grotto Falls, then drove the Motor Nature Trail where we saw a mother bear and cubs! Go and enjoy yourselves.

We have really enjoyed our time at 'Kickerback'- it went way too fast! Your home is so clean and cozy- with all the amentities plus more! We have rented from several agencies in the area and nothing compares to Kickerback- we will return come spring! Our little dog, 'Snickers' was so at home-much more relaxed here-We think it was the carpet. We enjoyed a wonderful Birthday/Anniversary celebration dinner at the Peddlar - wonderful food! We have enjoyed our stay in your cabin. Everything was so neat and clean. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, coffee on the deck...the perfect place to just kickback and relax. My wife and I, plus our son and his wife (from Atlanta) had a great time during our weekend stay. Your cottage is First-class and you think of everything. I've stayed in 'condos' all over the world and the amenties you provide are the best. Thank you for the 'Happy Birthday' poster for our son's 34th birthday and the 'Welcome' note. The Parking Pass worked out great and saved us money for parking in Gatlinburg on 2 occasions. We plan on returning next year and we definitely will book our stay at your Kottage. What a wonderful 4 days we have had here. We love the Kottage- the location is perfect. Thanks so much for the extra touches - you really know how to make your guests feel at home. I love the lavender dryer sheets - hope I can find them at home. We have relived so many past memories with 7 year old Tyler - his Mom really loved it here and I felt her pressence with us the entire time.
