Great view of the beach from the balcony. Across the street from shopping and an easy walk to 2 or 3 grocery stores and other shops plus places to eat. Perfect for a couple or a couple with 1 or 2 children. Beach chairs and umbrellas for rent on the beach. This was a repeat visit for us and we will return again.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car.

This condo is located in an ideal spot, it has everything you need right across the street. It is close enough to Pensacola, and all the fun things to do in Gulf Shores, great surf fishing right in front of the condo. The view from the balcony is great. All though our stay was only two weeks, we found the owners would do anything to make sure our stay in the area was enjoyable. The carpeting should either be cleaned or replace.

Owner response:Thanks for your comments they are appreciated. Due to the amount of traffic flow in and out of the condo the carpets get alot of wear and unfortunately sometimes spills and stains. Thanks for making us more aware of the carpet issue and know that it is being addressed.

Perfect getaway

We just spent 3 nights in this condo and it was paradise. The view was awesome!!! This condo is well equipped for anything we needed. The rooms are spacious, plenty room for 5 adults. Very large balcony and YES the view was awesome. Everything we needed was right across the street, grocery, adult beverages, dollar store, restaurants and even DQ. The owners were great and extremely easy to work with. Everything was just as they promised. Property was clean and the front door was a little tricky but it wasn't bad at all. We will defiantly stay here again soon and I will recommend it to anyone that wants a perfect vacation.

We stayed the first part of Spring Break from Sat. to Wed. The condo was great for what we needed. Plenty of room for 4, nice balcony, view, & location. The radio was great, we were rarley inside but if we were the radio was on during the day. The bed in the Master was sleepable, but I would have liked it to be a bit more comfortable. All in all it was good and we would and plan to stay there again. Great price, great location and great views can't beat it.

Upon arriving, the condo front door lock was tricky to open(like this everytime), could not tell the property had been cleaned. The property is in need of maintenance and updating! Master bedroom ceiling fan make excessive noise, bed was not comfortable at all! The balcony was nice, but it would be better if it had some comfortable furniture. Also would be nice if the sliding doors on the balcony had screens(like the rest of the adjacent properties).

Condo needs updated and maintenance work, also couldn't tell it had been cleaned upon arrival. Some lights didn't work, never got the stereo to work. Front door lock was tricky to open everytime.

Owner response:Thanks for your thoughts. Sometimes the front door lock is tricky. This is a results of the sea air and frequent usage, Oiling is necessary.and the door locks are sprayed with WD 40 often to help prevent this problem. We are sorry if the condo was not clean to your liking. Please feel free to call us anytime it is not to your satisfaction so that we can address the issue. Sometimes when there is a gap between renters the condo can get dusty. Maintenance is done upon request. It is important that our renters notifiy us if something needs fixed or address. Even a lightbulb change. Unfortunately we are not there near as much as we would like to be. Thanks for your comments.

Family Getaway

The condo was perfect for our family of five: good sized bathrooms, washer & dryer, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen with dishes & cooking utensils & a tastfully decorated, open layout. We never felt crowded, even when having company over. It's located directly across the street from a grocery store and other shopping options. We thouroughly enjoyed our time and can't wait to go back!

We had a great time. Walking on the beach, relaxing by the pool, breakfast on the patio watching the dolphins. The view from the patio is great! Everything we needed was in the condo, very well stocked. Bring your own plaster of paris to make hand prints in the sand with the shells you collect on the beach. Memories for life!

We stayed over Memorial Weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the condo and it's convenienent location. Everything we needed for our stay was provided (except beach towels, so bring your own). The view was great, loved waking up to the sound of waves outside the master suite. Would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our time in January and February this year. Temps were mild and a welcome break from the single digits we had at home. The view is excellent and the furnishings were very comfortable. The Wolf family was easy to work with and our deposit was returned asap. The condo is ideally located with three grocery stores, shopping and restaurants within a half mile.

We stayed in this condo from July 7-11, 2008. This was our first time to rent directly from owners but we have stayed at Silver Beach several times in the past. I was apprehensive about a direct rental but the owners were very easy to work with and everything was as described. I would not hesitate to rent this unit again! We love the "low density" of this building resulting in less competition for the pool and less crowding on the beach. The balcony is great!

We stayed in this condo June 12-15 and loved every minute of it. It was the perfect place for our little family vacation. Four adults and one child and we had plenty room. The balcony was the best, very kid friendly. I stayed up all night and even slept on the balcony some, so I could hear the waves crashing on the beach. When we go back to Orange Beach we will definately stay here again. I just wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Again.

We spent a week in this great condo in May 2008 and it was just like being home but at the beach. The condo looks exactly like the pictures. The beds are extremely comfortable. We especially enjoyed the comfortable couch and easy chair as well as the nice TV monitor. There is cable in both bedrooms also. Everything was in good working order, 2 great baths and washer and dryer just as advertised. Complete kitchen, nice dishes. The view from the curved balcony is especially nice and the ocean is beautiful from there day or night. We spent a lot of time just relaxing out there. Just as important is that the owners are very easy to work with. All transactions were pleasant and efficient. My deposit was returned just as promised. I was apprehensive about giving my credit card number over the phone but the only amount charged was exactly what we agreed. We will always try to rent this condo first. Silver Beach is the only condo I know of at Orange Beach that has a clear balcony with no metal bars so we always try to stay there. This particular condo is my favorite we've rented there.
