Aloha & thank you for your interest in our oceanfront vacation rental, the Lanikeha "Legendary Part of Heaven". The Lanikeha is in Honolulu, Hawaii, located in the fishing town of Hauula on Oahu's North Shore near the Polynesian Cultural Center, Turtle Bay, Kualoa Ranch, and many other wonderful Oahu attractions. We are located approximately 45 minutes from Honolulu International Airport on the North East coast of Oahu; where the Ko’olau Mountains touch the Pacific Ocean.
Our community of single family homes, small shops, and quaint restaurants is very different from the high rise retail/ tourist center of Waikiki. With hiking trails and unspoiled reefs, we offer a glimpse of the Oahu of yesteryear with convenient access to the night life and modern pleasures of Honolulu & Waikiki.
The Lanikeha "Legendary Part of Heaven" is a direct oceanfront, centrally air-conditioned vacation rental suite on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii and offers impressive views from one end of Hauula bay to the other with the beautiful Koolau Mountains beyond. This is a spacious (1,000+ sf living area) one bedroom, one bath suite with porcelain tile & marble floors throughout.
The Lanikeha features a complete and open kitchen with a granite top bar, stove/range, microwave, fridge, and all the cooking utensils you need to prepare complete meals. The adjacent dining area has a table/seating for four. The living area, with the feel of a tropical atrium, is richly decorated with warm tropical & plantation style furniture and enjoys breath-taking ocean views.
There is a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room in addition to a separate conversation area with seating for four. The bedroom area is furnished with elegant and tropical teak furniture and a queen size mahogany sleigh bed with pillow top mattress. The bath features marble floors, double washbasins, a jetted tub, and a unique moss rock wall enclosure. The bedroom area has a tropical ceiling fan although it is rarely needed as this suite enjoys cool ocean breezes year around.

Why the Owner Chose Hauula
Our family has owned and operated this business for two generations now. Originally our goal was to provide accommodations for people visiting family at BYU-Hawaii who wanted a more family-friendly atmosphere. We then realized the need for quality oceanfront vacation rentals at an affordable rate...this is our mission today, to provide quality, yet affordable, oceanfront vacation rentals on the North Shore of Oahu.
The Unique Benefits at this House/duplex
Guests who stay with us get more than just a place to sleep at night, they get their own beach house on the North Shore of Oahu. We have 450 linear feet of oceanfront property giving our guests plenty of room to lounge in the sun while being cooled down by the gentle breezes of the South Pacific Ocean. We also have four hot tubs on the property plus kayaks, boogie boards, snorkeling gear and complimentary high-speed internet. Each of our units come with full kitchens and 11 of them have air-conditioning.
We are located four minutes from the Polynesian Cultural Center and Brigham Young University Hawaii. We are also located 20 minutes north of Kualoa Ranch and 15 minutes from Sunset Beach and the famous North Shore surfing beaches.

We have owned and operated these properties for two generations. We have operated as Hale Koolau LLC for nearly a decade, however prior to this change of entity we operated the business as sole proprietors, accommodating thousands of guests over the years. We are a member of the Better Business Bureau of Hawaii with an A+ rating, member of the Hawaii Chamber of Commerce, and have an "excellent" rating on TripAdvisor.
