We are thoroughly enjoying our stay here. Ophir is located in the most picturesque setting. It is truly unique and very hard to absorb all the beauty that surrounds you. The home fits in perfectly with the setting It is very clean & well maintained plus the kitchen is well stocked. Keith is very thoughtful and terrific at answering all our questions and recommending restaurants etc. We hate to leave and hope to return next summer!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, pet owners, age 55+.

We had a wonderful week here starting the July 4th weekend. House is perfectly situated and backs on to the national Forest and the mountains. You wake each morning and watch the sunrise kiss the high peaks. Place was immaculate and the owner could not have been more helpful{also the neighbours}. You have the perfect combination of seclusion with access to the town of Telluride. If you love the oudoors and the creauture comforts this is the place for you. We loved it and hope to stay again. Malcolm and Kathleen

Keith- My wife and I just wanted to say how amazing our vacation was to Ophir. It was because of your home and hospitallity that made it so good. It was exactly what we were looking for and found the house extremley cozy. It was suprisingly warm with the perfect size kitchen. We found the home in great shape with everything we wanted. Thank you again for the wonderful trip.

This was a spectacular setting for a home. It was a interesting and pleasant experience to stay in a small (50 homes) mountain community as opposed to staying in a town, which makes this a unique experience. The house is very clean, well equiped kitchen. We could take walks during the day , hikes and fishing are close by.

We were lucky to have found this beautiful home and to have watched the first snow of the season blanket the soaring, majestic surrounding mountains...every window with a view! Was so cold we stayed in mostly, but really got a sense of the immense mountains on display from the window seat! The home was a perfect mix of modern/rustic, all amenities we needed were there, nice custom finishes (wood/stone/great bed/sheets) and the town of Ophir (hamlet of telluride) a perfect antidote to the crowds of telluride but still close enough to enjoy all that it has to offer. Will stay again! Thanks!

The house is in a beautiful location, sturdy, and will modern amenities... in my opinion, better than Telluride Valley. The owner (Keith) gave us good instructions for the utilities and was very accomidating through the entire process. I don't think I could beat this vacation experience, and I will definitely be staying here again to experience some of the things I wasn't able to this time around.
