Beautiful Condo with Great Location

We spent a week at Mike's condo and just loved it. The condo is beautifully furnished and the bed was very comfy. We originally wanted a deck, but we didn't miss it at all as the living room window opens up the full length of the wall. The beach is only one block away and there were plenty of places offering the use of their chaise lounges and beach umbrellas in exchange for buying a few drinks during the day. There are tons of restaurants, stores and markets within walking distant. The neighborhood is lively and people were very friendly. Mike and Chris were extremely attentive and welcoming. Altogether, it was a great place!

My partner and I just returned from 10 days at Michael's Casa in PV. I found his listing on VRBO when searching for condos in the area. What a find!! It's a great location just up the stairs behind Blue Chairs with easy access to Amapas Street Market! The building has a rooftop pool and sundeck that are great and have the best view of the bay! Chris had the condo fridge stocked with soft drinks, beer, and water. The view of the sunsets and Banderas Bay were amazing!! I would definitely recommend this property and will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to PV!

Wonderful Condo in Puerto Vallarta

This was our first time going to Mexico and both of us had our concerns traveling there. While searching for places we came across Mike's lovely home and decided to contact him. As soon as we talked to Mike all of our concerns were put at ease. Throughout the process Mike was very informative; he was kind enough to send us he recommendations about local restaurants that we should try. We tried all of them and even developed a few of our favorites that we visited multiple times while we were there. Once arriving in Mexico it was a quick taxi ride to Mike's condo where Mike's friend Chris was waiting there for us. Chris was wonderful; he gave us the grand tour of the condo and explained the in's and out's of Puerto Vallarta for us. We were both happy to be staying in Mike's home; it had everything we could ask for. Even a 12-pack of beer! The view is amazing; the pictures don't even capture the beauty of it. Our trip seemed short and we wish we could have stayed even longer in this paradise. If we ever find ourselves back in Puerto Vallarta we will definitely try to stay at Mike's (hopefully it isn't booked already)!

Wonderful place to stay in PV

We just returned from a week at Michael's Casa in Puerto Vallarta. This is our fourth visit to PV and we finally found the perfect place. We are a gay middle-aged married couple and the location couldn't be better as far as we're concerned. This place comes with so many amenities and extras that I hesitate to let anyone else know about it! The property is beautiful, well maintained and appointed. I would have no hesitation recommending it to anyone. Mike really does seem to care about his guests with plenty of email contact. The Las Brisas building has both an upper and lower exit - so getting to the beach is a snap. And the view is incredible - just perfect to sit and watch the bay and the sunset. While you're there you've got to try a cruise on the bay for whale watching or just out to one of the beaches that are accessible only by boat. Diana's tours are a blast. We have our favorite restaurants in the area that include Naranjo, Gilmar and El Arrayan that we go back to time and time again.

The Perfect Place in PV

My husband and I stayed in Michael's Casa for 5 weeks in January/February 2011. It's an adorable, modern place with a billion dollar view. We arrived to find a bottle of tequila, various beers and soft drinks, lots of bottled water, fresh banana nut muffins, and fresh, gorgeous flowers in the living room. However, the best thing about this place was the on-going and absolute care that Michael and Chris (his friend and apartment manager in PV) took of us while we were here. Michael checked on us via email at various times throughout our stay to make sure all was okay, and if any tiny little thing needed attention, Chris was right on top of it - instantly. There's a convenient taxi stand close-by, so if we needed a taxi, it was immediately available. Unlike many homes/condos in PV, this one has been remodeled with slate, granite, and modern fixtures and lights. It has lovely mood lighting (dimmers) that is so romantic when you just want to sit and relax in the evening. The neighborhood is quiet at night (unlike Centro!!) and sleeping was a breeze. The view from the pool deck is the best place to view the outrageous PV sunsets and meet other residents if you want. We've stayed in many VRBO places around the world, and Michael's Casa is one of the finest, not only because of location and quality of the apartment, but because of the attention given to the residents' comfort and ease. It's the best "customer-care" we've ever had anywhere! Is there a downside to this place? If you have serious trouble walking or are very limited in mobility, the stairs may present a problem for you. But that's it. We believe Zona Romantica where Michael's Casa is located is the best part of PV - the best restaurants, the best art galleries, the best beach, the very best vibe. When we return to PV, it's definitely the place we will stay. We highly recommend it.

In January, I made my first trip to Puerto Vallarita. I was lucky enough to find an opening , so I could stay at Mike's condo. Chris came and picked me up at the airport, he was so helpful, gave me a quick tour of the city. The view from the pool over-looking the beach area was beautiful, then we made it to the condo. WOW !!! The pics do not do the place justice, there is no need for a balcony, the windows open all the way... to an amazing view.. Everything I needed was there, a beautiful full kitchen ( including a coffee maker, dishes, micro, etc) a very comfortable bed, ample storage, but I have to say , my favorite part of the condo was the bathroom, a large glass and tile shower, great lights and wonderful stone sink. I have stayed at 5 star hotels and Mikes place would defenitly receive 5 stars from me.. If you get a chance go to the Marina where Chris has his coffee shop, he bakes everything himself, his banana bread and cinnamon rolls are the best.. I'm looking forward to my next trip there....

I really have nothing bad to say about my experience here. Upon arrival i was greeted by Chris who took me to the condo and upon entering my first experience was this amazing view of the ocean and the city. The pictures really dont do it justice at all. The place is so convenient to what i wanted to do during my stay. The place is impeccably done with very tasteful pieces as well as some beautiful artwork adorning the walls. Everything that Mike said this place was it was. I couldnt have asked for a better place to stay and I hope to stay there again next year as well.

There is not much I can add to all the other reviews as they are absolutely accurate; Micheal's condo is nicely decorated, very clean, has all the amenities as advertised and both he and Chris are VERY responsive to any questions or problems! When renting this property, my only hesitation was no deck/veranda, however, with the huge window covering the entire front of the condo open 24/7, you feel as though you are sitting outside ALL the time. The view of the entire bay is beautiful and the location is great for those that want to stay in the romantic zone. The only thing that I was not really prepared for is the walk up to the property, which was a good workout (but then my husband and I are in the over 50 Club). I would definately recommend this property and still love this area of PV!

This was my first time ever renting out a condo, and i was very pleased, When we arrived Micheals friend Chris met us at the lobby and gave us the tour, Micheals place was great , we felt right at home.... i didnt want to leave hehe. The place has a nice view, its close to everything, and just steps from the beach, there was plenty of towels and beach towels, and the fridge was stocked with water, beer and sodas. Id definately stay here again

What a great place! Michael's beautiful condo is my new home away from home in Puerto Vallarta. I didn't really appreciate how open it would feel until I arrived. The weather was so nice I never even closed the place up once for my whole week there. Chris was there to meet me upon my arrival from the airport. Both Chris and Michael were easy to reach for questions, etc. The WiFi worked great and the Vonage line was a great way to keep in touch with folks back home. Very comfy bed, by the way. I will be back!

Michael was at the airport to greet us when we arrived in PV. We were delighted to meet him and have him show us around the “old town” and point out the best restaurants, jewelry stores, flea markets and the best beach to enjoy. Michael’s Casa is in a fantastic location! The condo has a beautiful view of the ocean, with the most fabulous sunsets. The photos don't do justice to the condo. It is much more beautiful. Everything you want and need is within walking distance. Michael could not do enough to make our visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Upon arrival to the condo, we were greeted with fresh flowers. There were plenty of towels, washcloths and beach towels for our use. The fridge was stocked with beer, sodas and water. I like limes with my beer and there being none in the condo, all I had to do was walk outside and down a few steps to pick fresh ones from a lime tree. Amazing, I’ve never seen a lime tree before! A banana tree was also a just few steps away. Upon Michael’s departure, he surprised us with chocolates and my favorite Mexican beer, “SOL.” What a wonderful host he is. We highly recommend that you stay here, as we will definitely be back. Thank you, Michael, for making our stay so wonderful while we were there.

Just returned from a week in PV. This is our 2nd stay at Michael's Casa. Everything about the condo is great. Location, ammenities, bed, furnishings, etc. Mike takes care of you from the minute you arrive. His friend Chris that meets you makes the stay so easy and comfortable. It is the perfect place for two! Everything you want and need is within a 5 minute radius. While the condo is in the middle of it all, it is very quiet at night. The air conditioners work great and keep you very cool when needed. The photos don't accurately show what a great view there is at the condo. We visit PV every year and will always return to Mike's if it is available!!

Nine tremendous weeks in Puerto Vallarta this winter (mid Jan. to mid March, 2010). What helped a great deal to make it so tremendous was the fact that we stayed in Michael's Casa. What a place - everything just as the pictures and Mike has described. You could not ask for more. Even when it rained you did not mind staying in and reading as the accommodations was so well laid out and comfortable. Nice job on the renovations Mike and the decore was so gracious. And the view - Mike describes it as his "million dollar view" and he is certainly so correct. It was so "majestic" to watch the cruise ship coming in in the morning and leaving again in the evening. And the pelicans, sometimes you would swear that they were coming right in through that beautiful window. We also had the priviledge (and I do mean a priviledge) of meeting Mike in person. What a tremendous host - he just could not do enough to make your "stay" as comfortable as possible. Best of Luck to you Mike (and William) for the future and enjoy "your home" in Puerto Vallarta and Thank you for making our stay so gracious while we were there. Michael has a sign up in his condo welcoming people to his home in Vallarta. Nothing could be more truthful. The condo is wonderfully appointed with upscale amenities. The fridge was stocked with wine, beer, pop and water. Ample towels and beach towels were stacked in the bathroom. Everything worked as it should. Michael is my new favourite host in Vallarta. As well, people in the building were warm and welcoming. I have stayed in 10 condo buildings in the Zona Romantica and this is by far and away my favourite. Michael provided service stem to stern, from the moment I booked. His personal touch and willingness to go above and beyond definitely counted. And no, I won't be recommending it to friends because we tend to travel at the same time, and it's ALL MINE!!!

We stayed at Micheal's condo from 24 April through 7 May, 2009 (during the Swine Flu scare). My partner and I have been vacationing in PV for the last 5 years and have stayed in the Zona Romantica in the same hotel. We decided to try renting a condo this year (our sixth visit) and found Michael's place. From our first contact with Michael to booking our stay to our return, it was as if we've been friends for years. We will never stay at a hotel again! Michael was extremely conscientious of all the details and our needs, including stocking the fridge with our favorite soda and plenty of water, and having a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered during our stay. His condo is beautifully appointed, with all the amenities anyone could want. Michael has his place decorated in a simple modern style, and sophisticated artwork. The view of the bay and the sunset from the living room is fabulous. The condo is located near EVERYTHING, but is completely secure and quiet. We enjoyed hanging out on the condo's private rooftop at the pool, chatting with other guests/residents, and walking just a few minutes to the restaurants/clubs or the beach. Throughout our stay, Michael kept in touch, making sure all was going well and checking if we needed anything. Our flight was delayed by two days due to the whole flu thing, and Michael graciously accommodated the additional two nights. We can't wait until next year when we stay at his place, again. we stayed in michael's casa for 5 weeks 01-14-09 till 2-19-09. what a great time we had and got us out of the cold. your place is fabulous, so beautiful and very up-scale and within walking distance to everything. we loved the restaurants especially the agave grill and el brujo. we found a wonderful market place where we bought our fruit,etc. plus a fabulous bakery--michael is such a nice person--kept in touch with us and answered all our questions and very accomodating--you're the best. we are thinking of going back next year if it isn't taken already. have we mentioned the most comfartable bed? you are in for a treat staying at michael's casa and staying in pv. did we mention the wonderful sunsets and all the other amazing views from his casa? elly and jack

Michael's Casa in PV is every bit as fantastic as the pictures show it. The condo is very nicely appointed, very well decorated, and all utilities are modern and gorgeous. We couldn't have been more pleased with the unit and the amazing location. The unit is high enough for an incredible view, but a few steps out the back entrance puts you in the heart of Old Town, with the best restaurants and clubs in PV. Michael was great to work with, and gave us the best recommendations for places to go. We will definitely stay here the next time we're in PV!!

We loved your condo a home away from home-very classy and much nicer than any condo at Brisas Del Mar great job! All the comforts of home especially the bed so comfortable. It was definitley first class all the way and well decorated. We showed a few friends and they were very impressed. You can not beat the view none like we have seen before, loved having our coffee by the couch and even saw the whales jump out of the water from your view. At sunset have our cocktails words can not express the beauty of it diferent every night. We had the Puerto Vallarta experenince. Stayed in Michael's Casa from February 21-28, 2009. Mike's condo is a great find in PV. The location cannot be beat. Although you are in the middle of it all, it is still quiet and peaceful. The layout and decor are contemporary and comfortable. The view is great. The AC works very well! The bed is not a typical Mexican mattress but is very comfortable. The unit comes with everything you need to make your stay great. Our only advice would be to be prepared to climb a lot of stairs/ramps. We did not mind it but if you're not able to do so, this is not the place. Trust us, the climb is worth it! Thanks Mike, we will be back! Robert and Rocco Chicago

We have stayed at Michaels' Casa twice, our last visit was in November 2008. What a great time! The condo has a "Million Dollar" view. It just doesn't get any better. The accomodations are comfortable and stylish with lots of special touches from the owner. Location, Location, Location. Awesome, just wear good shoes as there are lots of stairs, but it works off all the great food and beverages. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your fantistic place!

I am entering this feedback about 2 months after our visit back in March because I found myself thinking back about our vacation and how we enjoyed our stay in PV. As others have stated, the location and view are great. That said, you need to be ready for some exercise (which we enjoyed) up the steps or hill. Michael, You know that I have been traveling to Puerto Vallarta for years and am very selective about my accomodations. Your condo is beautifully appointed, extremely comfortable, close to the beach, and (one of my pet peeves) the bed is VERY comfortable! The view was dramatic and I loved that the windows opened, to have the entire wall facing the ocean open to hear the sound of the waves at night. It was like having your own four star accomodation, fully stocked with beverages, toiletries and an abundance of beach towels. Perfect. I look forward to my next stay at "Michaels Casa". Michael, what can I say other than your condo was everything you said it was. We enjoyed watching the whales as the sunsets from the window and pool area. Michael's Casa is a very well appointed renovated unit with all the amenities one needs to make one's holiday memorable.The view is spectacular-the sunsets, the ocean, the occassional whale sightings. It is walking distance and close to the best restaurants, bars, nightclubs PV has to offer. Spending a quiet night at home- cooking,relaxing, watching a movie on 1 of the 2 plasma TVs is easy. Anyone staying here will not be disappointed. Your greeted with fresh flowers and water in the fridge. Chris, the unit manager, is always available (should the need arise), helpful and ready to resolve any problems. The complex has a great pool terrace, view, and the other guests are very friendly. A great place to enjoy your visit in PV from. I will definitely be back. Thanks,Michael.

Mike, Your condo is incredible!!!!! We had Great Weather.....and a Great Time. What a beautiful view.....to not only see the ocean but to hear it was fantastic. We loved all the custom woodwork in your condo and it was so convenient to everything....just a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to shopping and resteraunts. We really appreciated all the cards and brochures you had out for shopping, resteraunts, massages, bars, etc. We will definately be back !!!!
