Nice secluded community in Turtlehead subdivision, which is inside the Cliffs of Keowee but a separate entity. Private gate, within 200 feet of clubhouse with nice hot tub, pool, tennis, and basketball court. Boat launch is private to our small community and within 200 yards of house. Great views of the lake. We are north of the Highway 11 bridge. This home is great for kids, or a secluded hideaway for adults. 2000 finished square ft. Basement is 1400 ft unfinished. DSL WiFi internet

Master bedroom has a queen bed and bath with large whirlpool. Second downstairs bedroom has a bunk bed and a queen bed. Upstairs is a loft with a fold-out twin sleeper and a day bed with adjoining aprivate bedroom with a double bed and private bath. The lake is visible from the loft. Rock woodburning fireplace. Small screened porch with a table and hammock and a deck off the back with great peaceful views of the lake. Basement is unfinished and washer and dryer in basement. Only 16 houses in our private gated subdivision and a great place to walk. Has a garage that will be locked,I keep my boat in it.
Home is just four miles from Lake Jocassee boat launch, which is beautiful as well. Neighborhood boat lauch is 300 ft away. Great hiking and waterfalls in the north South Carolina mountains. It's paradise, what can I say. Would also be interested in exchange for rentals in ski areas out west, beach, or tropical locations. Has a 10x20 foot dock just steps from the back door, with attached jet ski dock. Use of small lake kayak, water skis, and wakeboard but responsible for loss or damage. No pets in pool area, otherwise pet friendly with sensible responsibility and responsible for any for any damages.
Home is also accessible within 25 minutes to Clemson and great for football weekend rentals. This by far is the most beautiful area on Keowee, with deep water, mountain views, access to Keowee falls, jump off rock, the Cliffs of Keowee Golf, Hiking, water falls, and hiking, and access to lake Jocasse. This was an ideal location on the Lake for what our 2 families were looking for. We took our own 20ft power boat but we did not use the boat ramp on the property since it was a little steep for my liking. We did find a great place to put the boat in at Falls Creek Landing (about 15 mins by car - 5 by boat) to the South. From there it was smooth saling. The views on the North end of the Lake are unbelievable and our pre-teen boys tested there man cards by cliff jumping at the 2 sites we found. Lake Keowee Falls (just below Falls Creek) was pretty but a tad bit over-run with weekend traffic. The house provided a wonderful home base for our outdoor activities and the ammenites kept our 2 families comfortable when we lost the sunshine. The views from the deck made the early morning coffee very enjoyable but be prepared to exercise for the climb from the dock to the house. We enjoyed our stay and hope to make more trips to Lake Keowee and to this particular rental.

We had a great time at this wonderful home. We especially enjoyed being right on the water, with a beautiful setting and view. The home is comfortable, bright and clean. I recommend this vacation home.

Great House. Has a very welcoming feel and relaxing atmosphere. Not to sound too much like I am from Asheville, but, the house has good Vibes. Nice dock and jet ski port. The small cove where the house is located is great for swimming and kayaking for the kids and the kids at heart, with easy access to the main channel, Jocassee Dam, Jocassee/Keowee State Park etc. This area of the lake is by far the nicest that we saw in our week at the house, although we only made it as far the Power plant. The Jocassee dam area was great especially nice during the 100 degree days we were there, and they were drawing the cold water off Jocassee into Keowee. How Refreshing. Owner of house is extremely accomodating. Plan on coming back next year if possible.

This is a great vacation home. The beds and furniture are comfortable and in excellent shape. The kitchen is very roomy and well furnished with plenty of utensils, dishes and pots and pans and small appliances. The jacuzzi tub was great and roomy. The dock was perfect for our ski boat and kids enjoyed playing off dock. The cove where the house and dock are located is quiet with moderate wave action. The area out from the cove is great for skiing, tubing, wake boarding etc. This is one of the better areas of Lake Keowee. The community is quiet and nice, great for riding bikes, running, and walking. The pool and hot tub are well maintained. There is plenty of room for 8 to sleep and enjoy the home. The view for the lake is perfect. You can enjoy meals on the porch and enjoy the view of the water. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed a long weekend in this house and found it to be very comfortable! It is in a very quiet neighborhood which is off the beaten path. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the house had many delightful decorations which made us feel at home. The view from the back deck was beautiful and the family enjoyed swimming off of the dock. I really appreciated being able to clean up ourselves without being charged an exorbitant cleaning fee for a 2-3 day stay! The owner returned the damage deposit promptly. I would highly recommend this rental!
