Situated 50 feet from the Corridor trail between Mary Jane and Winter Park ski areas and 67 miles from Denver, this quietly secluded ski-in/ski-out studio condominium at Iron Horse Resort has a view of the Continental Divide off of its deck and is seconds from skiing. The Corridor trail is accessible from your building by a foot bridge and is a one minute ski down to the Winter Park Village and the Zephyr lift; or, you can access the free ski shuttle to anywhere in the Mary Jane/Winter Park Resort at the front door of the condo building. The town of Winter Park and Fraser are a 10 minute drive or accessible by free shuttle.
The condominium sleeps four and has a full kitchen and bathroom, fireplace and deck. A full range of amenities is available through indoor access, including an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs, steam room, fitness room, laundry facilities, business center, underground parking, and restaurant.
In the summer season, the condo is an ideal location for mountain biking. Several trails run past the condo and lead to a vast network of mountain biking trails that run up and over Winter Park Ski area and throughout the Fraser valley. There are bike races approximately every other weekend and the condo is about 2-3 minutes by bike from the Winter Park base where the races often finish.

Why the Owner Chose Iron Horse
Skied at Winter Park while attending college and always loved the Mary Jane bumps. Close to Denver, so much less skier traffic. The town is much more family-oriented, as opposed to a glitzy, party town.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The most obvious would the the ski in/ski out perk. Gets you truly into just skiing and enjoying the mountain quicker.

"Great stay" has it exactly right. We were here in March of 2011. Condo is small, about the size of a large hotel room, but it is perfect for 2 to 4 people who are here to ski. The only negative I found was that the designers of the Iron Horse complex did a poor job locating their elevators. Other than that, the place is great. PS. The owner is very nice and easy to work with.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing.

Stayed here in mid January 2011 for five days at WP/MJ. Great location for ski-in/out. This place is perfect, convenient parking, rentals, the bus line runs to WP resort and town. The murphy bed slept great and the pull-out is pretty comfortable too. If you're skiers you'll love this place. Nice workout facility, I wasn't pushing any weights or riding bike after all day of skiing, but used the hot tub, showers, steam room, and nicely heated pool. Kitchen is well stocked, everything we needed to prepare meals (big grocery store in Fraiser to buy food). Owner is very helpful too. We'll definitely be back.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
