  Wow...I had a great time skiing Winter Park and staying in this perfect condo. The Iron Horse property I am reviewing is perfect for 2 young adults (and probably everyone else) who want to have a great time while not going broke. The condo is in great condition and is very cozy. The fireplace is so comfortable after a long day of skiing. The bed that folds out of the wall is actually really comfortable. The kitchen has more than you will probably need. The bathroom is clean and has a nice feel. The whole vibe of the place is great and it feels like you are house-sitting for family (check out the great art on the walls painted by the owners themselves!). The hot tub and indoor/outdoor pool is perfect after skiing. Getting all around town is super easy by the free bus that runs all day long til 11pm. As for the owners, they make this place worth staying for. Their responses are super quick and I can tell they are true skiers...they really wanted me to enjoy my time. They helped out in every way possible...including leaving hand/toe warmers on the kitchen counter, discount rentals/lift tickets, advice on places to eat, and trail maps for skiing. Good people, let me tell you. ....And I usually don't write reviews

  We had a great time! Thank you so much for letting us stay at your condo. It worked out great for my family. We had enough space for us to sleep and it was a clean condo. Thanks again! We will be renting from you again!

  Great Place to Stay. Had everything we need. Staff at the resort was very help full. The ski shop (Ski Depot) is very friend and very helpfull. It was nice to have a place to store the skis over night. The owner was excellant to work with. Very easy to get in contact with it there were any questions. We will be back there when we go to Winter Park.

  We enjoyed our Feb. 2012 stay at this condo very much. The owner was great with communication before our stay. The condo is nicely decorated and cozy - very well stocked with everything that you should need for your stay. This is an excellently priced place to stay for a ski vacation. I suggest that anybody staying at Iron Horse do research if you aren't familiar with the area - I did this before I booked but sense that other reviewers of the resort on other sites hadn't. You can ski out of the condo, yes, you will have to pole some on the flatter spots - not a big deal. Skiing in to the condo is on a Blue trail - while it was too difficult for me to do more than once, the shuttles are easy to use, and the resort is the first stop on the village shuttle. We knew all of this going in to the condo and were fine with it...you aren't paying the premium that you would have to at places firectly in the Village. Getting to the Village for evening activities is easy to do with a shuttle. However, we often walked to and from the Village because it was a short quarter mile trip.....good to stretch out the muscles after a day of skiing. The condo is also close to the elevator/stairs which made going to the hot tub and out to the Village easy. Being able to leave our skis at the shop downstairs, helped with not having to store them in the condo. We slept fine on the Murphy bed. I think it would be a bit cramped for 4 people, but hey, if you are close it won't be a problem. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our only slight issue was a noisy, nonworking icemaker in the fridge that woke us up the first couple nights, but I'm sure that is a small problem that will be easily fixed. We loved Hernando's for pizza in Winter Park and loved, loved Sharky's for breakfast in Faser!

  "Great stay" has it exactly right. We were here in March of 2011. Condo is small, about the size of a large hotel room, but it is perfect for 2 to 4 people who are here to ski. The only negative I found was that the designers of the Iron Horse complex did a poor job locating their elevators. Other than that, the place is great. PS. The owner is very nice and easy to work with.

  Stayed here in mid January 2011 for five days at WP/MJ. Great location for ski-in/out. This place is perfect, convenient parking, rentals, the bus line runs to WP resort and town. The murphy bed slept great and the pull-out is pretty comfortable too. If you're skiers you'll love this place. Nice workout facility, I wasn't pushing any weights or riding bike after all day of skiing, but used the hot tub, showers, steam room, and nicely heated pool. Kitchen is well stocked, everything we needed to prepare meals (big grocery store in Fraiser to buy food). Owner is very helpful too. We'll definitely be back.
