The Capitola Beach House has been owned by the same family since it was built in the late 1940's. The home is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath with kitchen and family room. It has a courtyard that is great for barbecuing. It sits atop a bluff on the north end of the Monterey Bay with a stunning view of the Monterey Bay and the Capitola beach and wharf. It is a 5 minute stroll down to Capitola Village with plenty of dining, shopping, entertainment, coffee houses, beach going and surfing.

A short one block walk to Jade Street Park provides tennis and basketball courts, soccer and softball fields as well as a kids playground. The city of Santa Cruz is just 4 miles to the North where the famous Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Amusement Park is located.

  • This is, without a doubt, a spectacular place to stay! The view from this wonderful beach house is unparalelled. You are a minutes walk into the darling town of Capitola which has everything you need. The beach is directly down the cliff by stairs, no need for a car at all. The house itself is a trip back in time with family pictures on the wall and a wonderful warmth in every room. The interior patio is a great place to BBQ, you have lemons on the tree in the yard and the kitchen is a delight with a very cool Wedgewood stove that works terrific! A perfect place for a family vacation or a romantic getaway or both..the detached master bedroom is very private. We love this home and will return again. Thank you for sharing this jewel of a home!
