We have stayed at Hali'i Kai 12c three times and have never felt more at home! It is just as beautiful as described - we will never stay anywhere else on the Big Island!

We loved the view and the location! The 2 golf courses that are part of the resort are great and so close. A very short walk to the pool and wonderful paths along the ocean. We saw whales in the morning the first few days from the deck. The kitchen is very well equipped with every appliance and spice needed. We were very comfortable there and ate almost every meal on the deck. We are already making plans to return next year!

After our first visit in Feb '08 we knew we would be back. Well it took 2 1/2 years and here it is the night before we leave - we are so sad to go. Our only consolation is that we are already making plans for our return, hopfully it won't take 2 1/2 years this time. Hi Debbie Thank you so much for renting your condo to us....We enjoyed every moment.....The scenery was just breathtaking.....My daughter just loved the birds outside the lanai and played with them every morning..... Your condo was extremely cozy and the fully equipped kitchen was just wonderful...The place was very accessible to all the places such as grocery store, beaches, shopping and dining....We loved the hapuna and mauna kea beaches.....they were gorgeous and very accessible...... We thoroughly enjoyed our Big Island paradise at Hali'i Kai. It was my husband and children's first visit to the Big Island and my second (although it had been many years since my previous visit.) The condo was fantastic. You couldn't beat the unit's location within the pristine grounds of the Hali'i Kai resort. The condo was well appointed and tastefully decorated. We took advantage of the grill on the lanai after stopping at a local fish market and picking up some Ono fresh off the boat. Delicious! There were endless actvities and amazing white sand beaches nearby. We found a lot of island treasures thanks to a great guide book provided in the unit. Debbie was great to work with in booking our condo and promptly returned our deposit. I thought I would be ready to hop back on the plane after 10 days with just our family, but I could have easily stayed another week or two! We can't wait to visit again!

Our family is a little sad to be leaving this morning. For most of us, it was our first trip to th Big Island, but certainly not our last. We may have our new favoite Island! We spent much of our time exploring, hiking and discovering many of the Nati'l Parks. Of course, the volcan was very impressive, but my 7 year old says her favoite days were learning about Hawaiian history through 3 of the other Parks (we left the brochures in your info book for future guests). We also visited Hapuna Beach, A-Bay and Kekaha/Mahai'ua State Beach across from the Hawaiian Veteran's Cemetary on the way to the airport (this is a local favorite!). Stunning waters and far less crowded than others, the sand is like sugar. Your condo was perfectly apoointed for our family of 4. We appreciated using the guide books, (especially Big Island Revealed). We thoroughly enjoyed the Ocean Club and the pool. Craig pours a mean Mai Tai! YUM! Mahalo Nui! Aloha from san Diego

Had a beautiful but too brief stay in 12C at the Hali i Kai! Whales, big waves and total relaxation. The weather was perfect. The condo had everything we could have wanted, including a cooler to take in the car on day trips! We really enjoyed the pool area and the poolside restaurant. We'll be back for sure...

Owner response:Most of our guest just love our perfect location! and how well provided for the unit is. We have taken special care to fully stock the unit with every imaginable need, from all the gourmet's kitchen gadgets, crock pot, rice cooker, blender etc! We have a "library" of books to read, and Island guides for the guests to use. Lots of games for every age group, including Bocce (we love to play at cocktail hour a family competition on the grass outside the unit) and fun board games. We have 4 beach chairs, towels and a large cooler for those day trips to many of the world class beaches within minutes of the condo!

My husband and I spent a wonderful 9 days at your beautiful condo with a view of the golf course and the ocean. The bed was so comfortable, the kitchen so well equipped, and the unbelievable Ocean Club pool and workout room was so much more than we expected! The staff at the pool were so friendly and helpful. Not crowded at all, and the views were breathtaking. One day we were the only couple at the pool. Great Mai Tais and the food was outstanding! We couldn’t believe how fast our time went. We definitely were spoiled…..when we departed Hali’i Kai to the island of Lanai we kept saying to ourselves we should of stayed extra days at your condo at Hali’I Kai as it was so private. You have a very special piece of heaven. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Hi Debbie, Thanks so much for sharing your condo with us. I have one word to describe 12C and that is FANTASTIC. I have been on so many vacations and stayed in all the best hotels but nothing compares to what we experienced at your condo. To begin with the location is to die for, the view from the Lanai is just breath taking. When we entered the resort it was so well maintained and the when we got into our unit the condo was kept immaculate. Everything we needed was there, towels,boogie boards, detergent to wash clothes, dish washing soap, etc.. I am not sure if I can think of any thing that was needed improvement. This was the first time we traveled with our baby and we were concerned about how to manage all the small things like heating the milk, washing his clothes but the amenities in the condo and the property blew me away. There were so many shops close by Queens market was loaded with shops,which made our lives so easy to hop, skip and jump and buy anything we wanted. Not to mention the beach that was close by Hapuna beach it was awesome. Overall Debbie I was highly impressed and you can expect us again. I loved my stay at your condo.

Owner response:Glad to hear someone with a small baby found everything needed for comfort! We have a washer and dryer (soaps provided) so it's really perfect, don't need to bring a huge suitcase, can probably just get by with a carry on (saving extra $$) and wash a couple times. The proximity to the King and Queen shops is ideal as well. Generally there are lots of left over condiments, salad dressings, oils and we have a full spice rack, so most will check out what is there for them before spending money needlessly on provisions!

We recently stayed in this unit ( early mary 2009) and had a wonderful time. The unit is immaculate and very comfortable. The view is awesome and the Halii Kai development is by far the best in Waikoloa Beach Resort - quite , safe and excellent accomodations. We will certianly be back very soon

Our family stayed here for 3 nights of a 12 day Spring Break trip this March. We loved the Big Island and our time at Hali'i Kai was a highlight. The people at the pool/fitness area/grill were very friendly and welcoming and we saw quite a whale show every day. My husband and son played golf at the Kings course while my other son and I did a Zipline tour out of Kapa'a- highly recommend it! The condo was nicely stocked with lots of extras and you just really can't beat this location-+ the pool is gorgeous! We hope to return soon. This was also a great starting point to head to Hilo and Volcano to see Kilauea up close- the two hour trip can be done as a day trip but its really worth it to stay the night and hike out to the lava flow. Hi Debbie, we had a fantastic time. Your condo was great, We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets, the pool, the awesome whales. It was truly a very relaxing retreat. The management there was very responsive. The internet was out due to the storms that hit right before we got there and the next morning they came over and helped get it up and running. They also helped book golf for Don and a sunset sail for us. You truly have a wonderful place there. Thanks so much, we will take many wonderful memories back to China~ can't wait to come back.

Thoroughly enjoyed the quiet setting of this condo overlooking the Waikoloa Beach golf course. Cooking on the BBQ located on our own lanai was great as we enjoyed relaxing evenings and spectacular sunsets. The beach trail offers the opportunity for a leisurely stroll while watching the waves crash on the rocks and occasionally seeing whales breaching further out in the ocean. Overall this is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy all the Big Island has to offer. Thanks Debbie.

This is our second stay at this perfect vacation condo and will returna again. Perfect location for golfers, right on the fairway of one of the most beautiful holes in Hawaii. Pool area is luxurious. The condo is very comfortable and first class. Love your choice of furniture. The lanai in front of the golf course with ocean views isa perfect place to BBQ dinner and drink rum. Debbie is most accomodating and a pleasure to work with.

Debbie, What a wonderful place you habe for us to stay! After spending nights in the Hilton, it was nice to hve space to relax as a family of four. The pictures on the website don't do this place justice! This is a wonderful base to explore the island. Our favorite beach was Kua Bay Beach Park (off hwy 19 across from West Hawaii Veteran's Cemetery, 5 miles north of Kona airport.) WE will definitely come back!

Wow! This condo is great and everything we had hoped it would be... and more! It is beautifully decorated and well-equipped with all the comforts of home. The location is perfect with an amazing view. The outdoor grill on the lanai is definitely a plus for us. The complex itself is quiet, safe, well-maintained, and the homeowners, guests and staff are very friendly. The clubhouse/workout room/pool area is beautiful! We took full advantage of all the amenities and really enjoyed taking in the sunsets by the pool. The condo and grounds exceeded all expectations. We loved it so much, we extended our stay! We have been recommending it to all our friends and family. We'll definitely be back! Mahalo.

Your condo was absolutely gorgeous - I have never stayed in a place that looks better than the pictures. It was truly amazing and we really did see lots of whales from the lanai! If we ever have a chance to go back to the Big Island again, we will definitely stay here - my hubby insists. We stayed in various places around the island and none compared to yours. This condo was amazing! We have never stayed in a place that "the real thing" is better than the pictures! We loved watching the whales in the morning from the patio. We had a fabulous time at your wonderful place! You are blessed to have such a retreat. We enjoyed the sunsets every night and were even treated to fireworks from the Hilton a couple of nights. Your condo had everything we needed and the pool and exercise area were peaceful and private. We hope to come back again and will definitely recommend your place to our friends. We had planned this trip for a long time in honor of both our son'd graduations and we were so happy we found your condo! ALOHA!

We stayed in this condo with two young boys, a girl teenager, and a boy teenager and two adults and it was so cozy! We had everything we needed her and more, and the two young boys LOVED the pool so much they never wanted to leave it. Even when we had air-conditioner trouble there was GREAT service! THANKS!

This place is decorated beautifully with such detail - we love it! The view is amazing and peaceful. The pool and exercise area is great and calm. The complex itself is good and private. Amenities were plentiful and much appreciated. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone. Hope we can come back again!

Thank you for making this condo so lovely and comfortable - it has EVERYTHING we needed to be at home here! We are here for a combo 16th wedding anniversary and family summer vacation and this break was perfect for both! The Ocean Club is incredible - the pool is more beautiful than the Four Seasons and Hilton! ALOHA!

BEAUTIFUL AND PEACEFUL! CONDO AND POOL AREA, THE EXERCISE EQUIPMENT, VIEWING THE OCEAN IS WONDERFUL. SAW A POD OF DOOLPHINS COME BY RIGHT OFF THE SHORE. KITCHEN FULLY STOCKED & EASY TO USE. ENJOYED THE STAY!

Aloha! My husband and I came to Hawaii for a much needed break and without our 2 young sons. Normally we like to do a lot of activities on vacation, but this condo is so cozy that our favorite moments are relaxing here or star gazing at the Ocean Club at night! WOW! This place has everything we needed and then some. My husband was so pleased to be able to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs in Hawaii! Thanks again for a wonderful and relaxing time. Hi, My name is Tina and I'm here with my husband and 2 children. What a fabulous place this is! We can't tell you how muich fun we had. There is so much to do and so many beautiful sights. The whale watching is out of this world. I could sit there all day. This unit has anything and everything you would ever want. The view is spectacular. We plan to make this out yearly vacation.
