What a beatiful place to stay! Our condo was so cute with the beach decor. The view of the pool and gulf was lovely. There were several places to shop and eat that were within walking distance. We were especially happy about that. Many other places were a short drive away. We used the walking paths along the street for our daily exercise. Since it was a little cool we were provided with terry robes to use during our stay. How thoughtful!!!! Thank you. We will definitely call our "Friend at the Beach" for our next stay in Santa Rosa.

Dearest Nancy, Thank you for a wonderful beach vacation! Our family of four stayed in your beautiful condo and we loved it so much we decided to stay an extra day! The accommodations were perfect and my boys loved the bunk beds! We have been coming to the beach for years and this was our best trip yet! These few days have flown. The condo was beautiful! We love the pool, the ocean and everything else. Favorite place to eat "Joe's Crab Shack". We recommend Southern Star Dolphin Cruise. I wish we could stay longer, but fall break isn't long enough. We hope to come back. Thanks so much

We enjoyed our stay here at San Remo 207. It was the perfect place to sit back and relax. Started out raining the first two days and the last, but all in all, the weather was great. Favorite place to east was at Harry T's in Harbor Walk Village in Destin. Enjoyed shopping in Destin as well. Mostly hung out at the beach and pool. Took long walks every morning and evening in search of shells (hard to find), went para sailing at "Just Chute Me". Wish we could stay longer, I'm not ready to go home and back to work, etc. Thanks for letting us stay at your lovely place.

This week went way too fast! This was our second stay in this unit and we still love it! The beach was perfect as usual We had big waves and small which we loved to play in. We rented a kayak and spent almost all day in it. The pool and hot tub felt great both during the day and at night. We met many new people that we will miss. We ate at Shorty's, Nicks and Margaritaville. We spent a day in Panama City Beach at the mall. We don't want to leave, but we can't wait to come back next year!

Just returned from a week at at Sam Remo. This was our 3rd year staying in one of Nancy's condos at San Remo. It was a beautiful week of fun, sun, beach and pool. Nancy was wonderful as always. We will definitely be back again next year.

What a wonderful week we had! This was our very 1st time to the area and we loved it so much! Renting from Nancy was great and the condo is adorable - we feel so lucky to have found San Remo! During our week, we rented bikes from "Beach Dogs", spent great times on the beach and at the pool, took Pirate Cruise in Panama City (kids loved!), went fishing at Okaloosa Pier, at at Goatfeathers and the Back Porch in Destin, and cooked some yummy grouper and shrimp fro Shrimpers Market. We hated to leave and will definitely be back.

This week has flown by! This is our 8th stay in the area but our 6th stay in San Remo and it feels like home! We have made so many family memories here and this year was no exception. The weather was beautiful every day, only one small shower yesterday evening. The dolphins were out daily and a few times very close by. We spent lots of time at the beach and pool daily. The guys at Sunset Beach service are so nice and we rented a kayak from them one morning. Our outings included: Date night at Barago, lunch at Dewey Destins (the original location - our tradition - the best fried shrimp around, Big Kahunas water park (much bigger than it looks!), walking around Rosemary and Alys, enjoying a cookout with extended family staying at Seaside, Happy Hour at Great Southern in Seaside (4-6 pm, 1/2 price cocktails, $5 oysters) and we were treated our last night to a shrimp boil, courtesy of my mother in law in our condo. She got the shrimp from Goatfeathers. We love renting from Nancy! She's the best. We always know our stay will be great when we rent from our "Friend at the beach".

We had a great week at San Remo. The condo was just what we expected from the description and pictures. The beach is beautiful and not too crowded. The location is quiet and low key. If we craved more activity, we had a short drive to Destin. The property is clean and well maintained. Nancy was very helpful and it was easy to work with her. We highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed being back at San Remo this Fall Break! We didn't realize how much we'd missed it! What a treasure! We loved the 4th floor condo (402) but this one has been wonderful, too. Gorgeous view and such cute "beachy" decor that feels bright and cheerful and fun. Thank you for the welcome gifts and for your kindness in sharing. God's blessings.

thank you for letting us come down to this absolutely beautiful condo for our Fall Break! We lead incredibly busy, fast-paced lives up in Memphis, and to get away for a few days and totally relax is not just awesome, it is super-super-iber-uber-awesome! And especially without having been to Santa Rosa for a couple of years, that very first step into the cool white sand, when you look around at all the brilliant colors, at the vast horizon, with the diamonds sparkling on the waves and in the sand, when you lift your nose to the sun and take in the smell of the sea and think nothing but Ahhh... well I don't know that there are even words to describe that feeling. We've seen our fair share of beaches, and sure they're pretty, but none of them really compare to Santa Rosa. I mean for one thing, you have the stunning vista, but also the huge shopping complex and the food... did I mention the food? Every night we dined like royalty. Our first night, we hit Stinky's, ate like pigs, got souvenirs - oh, and also saw John Boehner, the senator! The next night Dad brought a beastly feast from Goatfeathers to the condo, and we were cracking crab legs and peeling shrimplate into the night. The last night, we went to Carabba's in the Silver Sand's Mall (an awesome discovery, but not for my wallet :-)) Down at the beach, we dug some epic pits, caught some hermit crabs (creatively named Hermy), lounged/ate cookies on the beach chairs (it was lovely to have those beach chairs and umbrella waiting for us - thanks!), took long walks, wrote in the sand, built mountains, threw Frisbees, and played on the sand bars. I don't think we have ever seen so many sand bars before! Our whole trip long we had gentle breezes, smiling sunshine and not a single cloud in the sky. Everyone seems a lot more relaxed and less tense now. We love this place so, so much. Thank you for letting us come stay! Everything about the stay was wonderful...even the weather cooperated. All we missed was our grandchildren, but it's so hard to get their school break schedules all at the same time as ours. The beach is always perfect this time of year.

The condo was very well decorated and very clean. It was very good for an upscale condo. Working with the renting agent was a pleasure, and a free beach towel and wine along with use of the beach chairs and umbrella was a nice touch. The renting agent even arranged for rental bikes to be delivered to the property before we arrived. With all of this, we only had to relax and enjoy our stay. We did not have a single problem during our visit.

A week in Paradise

Our week at San Remo was absolute paradise and Nancy was a perfect hostess. The condo is beautiful and the beaches are as gorgeous as ever. No oil anywhere. I have been coming to the Okaloosa/Destin area for many years now and it is still as beautiful as ever. You would never know from seeing it that there had ever been an oil spill. This is my second year staying at San Remo and it truly beats anything else in the area. I will only be staying here in the future.

We were so pleased with our stay and found everything just lovely. We enjoyed opening the beautiful view and the whole place was decorated so very nice. The kitchen had a gadget that I needed and loved the dinnerware, pan and glassware. I did find time to use them with all the great resturantants to try out in the area. We keep the road hot going from Destin to Panama City for dinner. But often found the best spots were just down the road from us like Goatfeathers, Louie Louie, The Red Barn and make several trips to Sallys Backdoor to hear Redd sing and wait on us. We loved walking the beach and having morning coffee at Ms. Lucille's and catching up with old friends. Our place was so nice our bed so comfortable and lovely bedding. We had guests with us and they went on and on about how nice everything was. I took photo's of the many views the balcony and sent them home to share with my friends back North. I had one very close friend who was so impressed that she and her family booked at San Remo. They have traveled to the Carolinas the last l8 years and was so impressed with our place. It really felt like our home away from home. I cannot say enough about Nancy Fox who had everything in place for us and followed up to be sure we were okay. This is the first time we have ever had this happen and we having been coming down for the last 14 years to the Santa Rosa Beach area. I would grade our stay as a Plus A. Thanks and hope you get a chance to enjoy some lazy days like we did. The Hedricks

Nancy, Thank you for making ou stay at San Remo perfect in every way. On our annual 'Girl Trip',my daughter and I sought R&R on 30A and found an oasis! Never have I felt that my arrival at a vacation destination was so thoughtfully anticipated; I felt as if I were visiting in your home! Beautiful beach-beautiful pool, whatever your pleasure!! We stayed at San Remo for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The property is lovely, with a great pool/spa, fitness room, and access to the beach. The condo was nicely decorated and had everything we could have wanted. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and would love to come back again.
