Villas Club del Sol Condominium complex surrounds a free-form pool with a shallow area for wading or sunbathing; the condo is semi secluded but has nice green tropical areas; it's situated directly on the #6 green of El Cid's Castilla Golf course with a relaxing view of the course and the island; it's also just a few blocks away from a major supermarket (Soriana) where you can do your grocery shopping or take the bus to other parts of Mazatlan. Beach, Golden zone and restaurants are at 25-35 minute walk from the condo.
This is a 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom unit on the 1st floor in a quiet corner of the pool area. It's size is about 1200 sq feet. This well-appointed condo features a Queen-size bed in master bedroom, 2 twin beds in 2nd bedroom, living and dining area, kitchen, private laundry room and a roofed terrace with table and chairs. Furniture is modern. Flat screen TV in living room area. WiFi available at condo just bring your laptop.
Golf rates are 140.00 dls per day for 2 people (including electric car) and 25.00 dls for equipment.(prices may vary without notice)
There are also 3 major hospitals at 10 minutes drive from the condo that accept medical insurance from US and Canada ( Clinica Balboa, Clinical del Mar, Sharp Hospital) .
El Cid Residencial area is a private neighbourhood with controlled access and is simply the best and most peaceful place to live in Mazatlan. The clubhouse has a beauty salon, gym, tennis and basquetball courts, restaurant, etc. You can also use the facilities at El Cid Main Resort. A favorite snowbird destination where you can enjoy the sun, nice weather and great food all year round at an affordable price..!!!

I can´t believe it´s already the end of March and we will be leaving soon. We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. Thank you to Maria in Tucson and Marcela & Francisco here in Mazatlan. Everyone was so friendly and very helpful. Juan keeps the grounds & pool immaculate & helps with other little issues that may come up. The condo is very quiet and has a beautiful view & we met some very friendly people. We had many nice meals sitting in the balcony in the evenings & we enjoyed the BBQ. El Cid Resort is a great place to stay because it is gated, has lots of security, we felt very safe and secure. We hope to be back sometime.

If you are looking for a very quite place away from all the hustle in the busy beach area this is a fantastic place to stay. The condo was very clean, bright and well maintained with all the amenities one needs. We had a great stay and would love to return again.

We have enjoyed our month here and wish to thank Maria (in Tucson) Marcella, Francisco Sr and Jr - all have been most gracious and helpful. Juan, the caretaker here, must be thanked for his cheerfulness & willingness to help in anyway he can. Soriana "superstore" is an easy 15 minute over to Rafael Buelna Ave. An excellent fruteria produce outlet as well as a good heirdresser/manicurist. Buses are easy to catch on Rafael Buelna, towards the water for the Golden Zone (5 pesos ride)..So explore and enjoy..!!! Joan Beck & Arthur Olson

Our condo at Villas Club del Sol was wonderful. It's a little ways away from the beach, but that's a good thing! It's very near (3-4 blocks) from a big supermarket and it's easy to catch a taxi to the city. The condo is super clean, well-equipped, has a great big deck, comfy beds, a great pool and nice neighbors. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in Mazatlan.
