You can be one of the first to enjoy our newer custom built home,located in the Heart of Wintergreen, just minutes from the Wintergreen Inn. Walk right out on Tyro Ski Slope located approx.(2 homes up) Also Free Shuttle pick up in front of home, based on availability.
Our home offers a wonderful Mountain Cabin feel with the huge A-frame Greatroom (Ceilings over 20 Ft. Tall)loaded with windows looking out at the Wintergreen mountains, you can even see some slopes in the winter. Hardwood floors in all main level living areas and a gas fireplace. Designed to be a great set-up for a large family needing privacy or 2 families with 2 bedrooms up and 2 bedrooms on the main level.
The main level offers seating for 8 at the dinner table and 3 at the kitchen counter area,a commercial full size washer & dryer and a wonderfully equipted kitchen with natural cherry cabinets, tile backsplash & stainless steel appliances(+ extras like a slowcooker and coffee bean grinder).
On the Main Level: One bedroom has a king bed, one has a queen bed and 2 full baths(all bedrooms except bunk room have direct access to a bathroom) Upstairs is the vaulted master with a another King Bed, a walk-in closet and full bath.There is also a separate small bunk room(we have a bunk bed and trundle type twin bed in this room)
We are located approx. 100 Yards(2 Lots Away) from the Ski Slope-Tyro, with a designated walk out area and across the street from a hiking trail.
Enjoy the wonderful views from the front of the home and the privacy of the wooded 1/2 acre lot that backs to 2 more acres of wooded common area. You'll find this retreat on a quiet Cul de Sac street with beautiful homes. Parking for 3 cars, right in front of the door behind the home (no steps to climb just to get into the home)welcoming after those long hikes or ski days.

Why the Owner Chose Wintergreen
Wintergreen is special! We rented on ski trips for a couple years before deciding that the resort was the perfect place to buy a home. It is so close to North Carolina and such an easy drive. We also loved the family atmoshere at Wintergreen. THe slopes are far superior to North Carolina Slopes and the Restaurants,Spa and other year round facilities made it perfect!
The Unique Benefits at this House
We designed the home with 2 families in mind. Typcially we come up with another family and wanted to make it comfortable for all. There's always plenty of space for everyone! Also we have a private lot on a cul de sac with 2 acres of wooded common area behind us. We have seen hundreds of deer and even a bear on our lot. We are also minutes from the Wintergreen Inn and Dining and across the street from some great hiking trails. Not to mention walking out to Tyro Ski Slope.
