  This unit is not up to the standard we are accustomed to after ten years of renting units at Majestic Sun. Bed sheets, towels and wash cloths are "paper thin". No replacement light bulbs; living room carpet has numerous stains; no pot holders; one stove burner doesn't work; only 2 teaspoons in drawer; no mailbox key was provided; no mop & bucket. Upon arrival, there was no power in the unit!! The power wasn't turned on until the next day.We had to get a hotel room for the first night! We WOULD NOT rent this unit again!

  Went for a few days last week(Mid October) and the weather was great and the condo has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Great location to shopping, beach and great seafood so close. This was my 3rd time to stay in this owners condos and enjoyed my stay . It is really hard to beat.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway.

  This condo in very nice. It was clean and had everything that we needed for our weeks stay. The new furniture in the great room is very nice. Kacie is very good at getting back with you quickly when you email her with questions. We hope to stay again next year. Thank you for the use of your condo it helped make our trip to Destin a success.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

  Our family of four visited Destin for 3 nights and this condo unit exceeded our expectations. A recent visitor comment had indicated the living room furniture was showing wear, but the owner had already replaced the furniture and we found the unit to be very clean and well maintained. We appreciated the 2nd floor location - high enough for a good beach view and low enough to take the stairs. The owner was very responsive to our e-mails, and the entire process went very smoothly despite our short booking notice. The only thing I would like to have on a longer stay is Wi-Fi internet access. The unit does have wired internet access. One thing worth noting if you're visiting the area is that the beach umbrella service in Destin is a little pricey. We frequently visit Gulf Shores where the beach service is $25 per day, but it is $40 per day in Destin.

  I stayed in one of your condos several years ago, and eveything went wonderfull! So, when some friends and I thought of a spur of the moment trip to destin, I first thought of you!

  We stayed in this condo last winter (2011). The condition of the condo was mixed. The bedroom and bathrooms were quite comfortable. Some things you might consider are how much time you plan to spend in the living areas. At the time of our visit, the sofa and loveseat were not in usable condition. The furniture is quite old and is showing signs of wear.(sagging seats and worn, stained upholstery, legs supported by wood blocks) Kitchen stove had uneven(tilted) burners but the oven and remaining kitchen was fine. Views are spectacular and the Majestic Sun facilities are wonderful. Some updating is needed to make this unit comfortable for any stay longer than a coule of days. Photos are apparently old as evidence of wear is not readily apparent.

  Owner response: We strive to keep our condo in a condition that is comfortable and appreciated by our guests. After receiving concerns from this guest about the living room couch and loveseat we did shop around and purchase new pieces. Due to their popularity, they were back-ordered but are set to deliver by mid-June 2011.
