The apartment is a 1250 square foot corner unit with magnificent views of the ocean and the mountains including El Yunque. Relax on the large wraparound balcony facing the ocean. Watch the pelicans and terns soar and feed over the azure water while the occasional frigate bird wings by and the balmy trade winds and the soothing sound of the ocean relax you! Rent at $200 per night or from $800 to $1200 per week(for one to three bedrooms), minimum 2 night rental. Cleaning fee of $75 and 7%tax.

Immaculately maintained, it features up to three bedrooms, two full baths and a living/dining area with cable TV and a DVD/VCR player. The bedrooms have a Queen and two sets of twins. Additional airbeds are provided. Rent one, two or three bedrooms depending on need. All come with 2 full baths The apartment comes fully equipped with dishwasher, washer, dryer and all necessary utensils and linens. Beach chairs and toys for children are available. The building has full 24 hour doorman service and the complex has a guarded entrance with private parking. Ask about optional full service.
The complex sits on a large crescent beach with gentle waves with body surfing, sunbathing and strolling as favorite activities. Luquillo public beach is a short walk to the West and an excellent surfing beach and miles of rugged undisturbed coastline are a short walk to the East. White herons and iguanas are often spotted in groves along the beach.
Inside the complex there are tennis, handball and basketball courts, a large pool (lap swimmers note: this is almost unique in allowing one to swim straight laps-none of the major resorts or other condos have this feature), playgrounds, and a clubhouse. A grocery supermarket, drug store, gas station and several restaurants are within walking distance with many more restaurants, a multiplex theater and major shopping complexes within a 5 mile radius. San Juan is an easy drive away assuring easy sightseeing and attendance at cultural events.
The complex is conveniently located; approximately five miles from the Rain Forest "El Yunque", one mile to the beach of Luquillo, and Seven Seas Beach. Hacienda Carabali (Offers horseback riding and four-track tours around the Rain Forest), Fajardo's Bioluminescent Bay, and other great places are all within a few minutes drive. It's nearby (twenty minutes) the ferry that goes to Vieques and Culebra Island as well as both the Conquistador and Rio Mar luxury resorts with their dining, entertainment and gambling facilities.

We're both retired. I'm a systems engineer and Diane taught school. We're both avid travelers, enjoy theater, opera and all sorts of music. One of the highlights of our stay in Puerto Rico each year is the Casals fesstival.
Our two sons are both married and we have one granchild of four.
Why the Owner Chose Luquillo
shortly after being introduced to Playa Azul by relatves we fell in love with the place. The prettiest beach in Puerto Rico, it is an ideal place to spend the winter and we havr been doing that for some 12 years now.
After buying our condo in 2007 and fixing it up, we felt it would be a shame not to let others enjoy it while we were not there. So far we have had great experiences with the nice folks who have visited with us and enjoy the interchange and chance to host such appreciative guests.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
A great comfortable condo with a "million dollar" view. Terrific beach - we are there every day. The amenities in Playa Azul such as the pool and athletic facilities are handy and Tennis facilities at Rio Mar add a class act for a good match.
The surroundings are great with great food. San Juan is always fun with good music that is accessible. Nearbye hotels are good for night life and gambling and to top it all off its a great community within the complex.

First off thanks for everything you were very helpful answering all my questions. I would also like to say we had a good time at the condo. The view is amazing everything we needed was just a short drive away except for the clubs, but that's alright. One night we made our way to Old San Juan and experienced the nightlife in Puerto Rico. I met many lovely young ladies while on my vacation so of course that was a good thing. Sometimes the language barrier was a problem, but I had my friend that speaks close to fluent Spanish with me.
