In June 2007, the New York Times selected our unit out of all of the available units in Destin to feature in a real estate piece written for the paper. NY Times writer, Amy Gunderson researched the units in Destin and was so impressed with the amount of upgrades and extras within our unit that she featured it in her article.
Welcome to our vacation home in Ariel Dunes II (completed Spring 2007), Destin’s newest luxury high-rise condominium, located within the incomparable Seascape Resort.
Our unit is located on the 14th floor, providing you with a completely unobstructed view of the coastlilne and the waves lapping against the shore. Our 2 bedroom, 2 bath platinum unit features 9 foot ceilings, beautiful 18x18 porcelain tile, set on the diagonal, throughout the common areas and plush carpet within each bedroom. The living room is furnished with an inviting loveseat and cozy sofa (which is a sleeper sofa, offering an additional 2 sleeping accommodations), with a 50" plasma, flat panel HDTV and DVD player.
Your guests can enjoy an evening cocktail at the bar with its 3 comfortable bar stools, while you prepare a meal in the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Everyone can then continue into the dining area; which boasts a large and spacious table with seating for six.
Our kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances: there is a brand new LG refrigerator with French Doors, filtered water & automatic ice maker, GE dishwasher, GE self-cleaning oven/range and a built-in GE microwave. You will find that our kitchen is extremely well-equipped with all utensils, plates, cookware, coffee & espresso maker, crockpot, electric pancake griddle, blender, and toaster - everything you could possibly need! To round it all off, the granite countertops, tumbled marble tile backsplash, and the beautiful wood cabinetry all serve to enhance the rich elegance throughout our vacation home.
The master bedroom is presented with classic elegance. You will not miss the comfort of your own bed as this one has been outfitted with the finest custom linens and fabrics. The king size bed has a luxurious pillow-top, adorned with 400 thread-count sheets and lots of comfy pillows. A wide 32" LCD flat screen HDTV sits atop the full length dresser. A hotel quality safe stores all valuables, including large laptops, and electronics. The master bath features a double vanity, garden tub with a warm tile back splash, and a separate shower. A large eight foot sliding glass door provides private access to the balcony from the master bedroom, offering a romantic late night view of the sunset!
The second bedroom features two twin size beds with a beautiful dresser and separate closet. It also has its own 20" LCD flat screen HDTV and DVD player, and Xbox. This bedroom has private access to the guest bathroom which can also be accessed from the hallway. The view from the guest bedroom is impressive, providing a peaceful look across the Seascape golf course and out to the Choctawhatchee Bay.
There is a ton of extra storage space to help keep everyone's belongings tucked away. A separate laundry room with a full size, LG front loading washer and dryer are available within our unit. There is room here to sleep the baby/toddler in his own room for privacy. We provide a pak and play, stored behind the washer (please bring your own linens).
Free wireless internet access is also at your disposal. You will also have a XBox 360 gaming system available to help keep all ages entertained while Mom and Dad are preparing dinner, or on that one rainy afternoon!
Ariel Dunes is the perfect getaway, whether you’re a family of two, four, or six, Ariel Dunes has so much to offer! No matter if your stay is in July or January, you will love the variety of activities available to you. There is an 18-hole golf course on the property; a championship course is located within minutes of our unit, at Emerald Bay. Eight tennis courts, several fresh water lakes, well-equipped on-site gym (complete with cardio equipment, machines, and free-weights), a sauna and steam room.
There are three pools totaling 11,000 square feet. Both children and parents alike will love the benefits of the zero-entry pool and waterfall. Toddlers love to crawl around in 2 inches of water!
There is also world class shopping at the nation’s largest designer outlet center, Silver Sands. There you will find everything you could ever want from Nike, Under Armor, Kenneth Cole, Nautica, J. The Golf course on property is challenging enough for most golfers.
Google Silver Sands Outlet Mall to view ALL the shops located here. There is something for everyone!
If you need a few quick groceries, the Winn Dixie and CVS are a few blocks away. Publix and Fresh Market are a few miles away, in Destin or in Sandestin.
If you pull into town late, and need a quick bite, Jack's has great wings and lots of choices for sauces!!
From Hwy 98, make a left at the light to get your first view of the ocean. The entrance to Seascape is just ahead on your right.
There is a wooden boardwalk to cross the pond to get to the ocean. Kids love to look for turtles, fish and birds!!

We are a large family, living in Atlanta. Mom and Dad, four adult daughters, four son-in-laws, and nine grandchildren. We visit as often as we can, usually with some of the grandkids, and have enjoyed our condo immensely! It was the best decision we ever made and we want to share it with you. We hope you love it as much as we do.

Hello Keith and Deb...Jaime and I just wanted to thank you for helping to make our anniversary weekend getaway all it could be. This was our first time staying in Destin (and at you condo) and we could not have been happier. The condo was great. It was clean, had wonderful views of the ocean and surrounding areas, and was within a mile of everything you could possibly need. Even in late October, the weather was still warm enough to go for a nice walk on the beach. We were also very appreciative of all your restaurant recommendations, all of which were spot on. We will definitely come again sometime in the near future...perhaps for a bit longer next time with the baby(s). Thanks again....Chris and Jaime

This condo was even better that what we expected. It was very comfortable for our two young children and our in-laws that are in there 70's. We all loved it. The views were absolutely breath taking and the condo was well equipped to cook daily. Deb and Keith were great to work with and very helpful throughout the whole trip. The pools were probably our favorite and the beach was a fun stroll away. Plus there is a tram to ride if you don’t find excitement in walking past the duck pond. (The kids loved the pond and feeding the ducks and turtles)

The new French door refrigerator that we added this summer has been a hit, and the many small appliances do make it easy to cook, if you prefer to use the kitchen. When on vacation, we know how nice it is to not miss the comforts of home. The three pools, especially the zero entry pool with the low water level, are great for toddlers and kids. This condo was amazing . The view is gorgeous , the decor is wonderful. We felt so comfortable here just like we were at home but better. Our son just loved the pools and made friends that lasted the week we were there. The walk to the beach was short and the kids loved looking at the fish and turtles while crossing the lake to get there. The outlet mall is practically across the street and their are tons of resteraunts close by , we liked the Whales Tale right on the beach, cheeseburger in paradise next tithe outlet mall and we also ate at the Resteranut in the condos a few nights they have really good pizza and sandwiches. The bed in the master bedroom was the most comfortable vacation bed we have ever slept in ( made it hard to get up in the morning). It was also nice having a washer and dryer in the unit. Great vacation for the entire family and we will definitely book this condo again!

We had a fantastic trip to Desting in the Schad's condo. Very comfortable and well appointed with top quality appliances and furnishings. Views are great, close to beach, nice golf course. We throughly enjoyed our trip.

Keith and Deb, thank you for an outstanding place to stay while visiting Destin for the first time. You made our family feel at home while renting your amazing property. The condo was everything pictured and more. It truly exceeded our expectations. It was pristine with all modern appliances and furniture. It is beautifully decorated and very well-maintained. The beds were so comfortable that we slept in every day! While staying at your property we felt safe in the gated community that is picture perfect with a friendly staff to oversee all the resort has to offer. The three large pools are magnificent kept at just the right temperature to enjoy a swim day or night. We enjoyed the on-site golf course and rented bikes to stroll around the property and ride to the beach. The daily trips to the beach over the lake made for an adventure each day. Turtles, ducklings and other wild life gave us plenty to do while making our way to the white sandy beach and breathtaking turquoise water. While on the beach, we took full advantage of the convinient water sports activities that included inflatable’s in the ocean – a first for us. The kids enjoyed the trampoline and water slide but the banana boat rides were their favorite. Incidentally, the beachfront Whales Tale restaurant makes a tasty and refreshing raspberry margarita! You both were a true pleasure to work with while planning our vacation. We took your suggestions of where to visit and eat and were not disappointed – everything is so close but far enough away from the crowds to enjoy time away with family. You truly went above and beyond to make sure that our first trip to Destin was perfect! Thank so much and we hope to stay at your place again, soon!!
